Size: 8.3 x 3.2 x 2.9 cm

A lovely high quality skeletal quartz that shows beautifully structured surface with brilliant luster, especially on the front! The crystal body itself is completely water-clear. Only near the backside are some chlorite inclusions which look beautiful when looked upon from the front and through the glassy crystal. The whole specimen is virtually flawless with a crystallized bottom.

NC187 - Schorl - 150€
Cavradi, Val Curnera, Tujetsch, Graubünden, Switzerland
Size: 2.8 x 1.9 x 1.5 cm

Perfect thumbnail size and lovely thumbnail aesthetics! The specimen shows a distinctive upright sculpture of interlocked schorl needles, set on a piece of feldspar/mica matrix. There appears to be no damage here. Small needles might be broken here or there which would be hard to discern, but honestly, everything looks great!

MB048 - Pyrite - 150€
Ankogelgruppe, Anlauftal, Gasteinertal, Pongau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 4 x 2.1 x 2 cm

One single pyrite crystal with a nice rust-brown patina is set on a white matrix on a silvery chlorite bed. The contrast here is stunningly beautiful and there is no damage at all!

XR465 - Rutile - 670€
Untersulzbachtal, Pinzgau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 3.3 x 2.3 x 1.3 cm

First of all, this rutile knee twin crystal is large and spectacular. That being said, I have to admit that it's not quite perfect. Part of the lower "leg" is broken and missing, another part is still there but repaired. However, the sheer thickness of 1.3 cm, the sparkling red surface and the combination with some white feldspar makes this piece really special all the same. The somewhat chloritized terminations on top and bottom show that this is in fact a floater.

MD212 - Fluorite with Calcite - 950€
Weißeck, Lungau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 6.4 x 5.4 x 4.1 cm

A very attractive fluorite we bought recently as part of a collection in Austria. It is a lovely combination of purple fluorite cubes on a matrix with white calcite scalenohedrons. While the fluorites are rather dark and hard to illuminate, they have purple zones near the surface that radiate purple color very easily. The silky surface is lovely and largely undamaged. Only the side is damaged but you can’t see that from the main view.

MJ969 - Smoky Quartz - 1000€
Untersulzbachtal, Pinzgau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 6.3 x 4.3 x 2.8 cm

Smoky quartz from the Untersulzbachtal is exceedingly rare, especially when it comes to aesthetic specimens. This little group is certainly an attractive exemplar and in superb condition. The crystals are glassy, sharp and lustrous with a distinctive smoky color. They are all undamaged and while there are som contacts at the back, those are fully re-crystallized. An exceptional piece for the locale and this whole part of the Alps!

FL891 - Apatite - 950€
Narèt area, Sambuco Valley, Lavizzara, Ticino, Switzerland
Size: 4.3 x 3.4 x 2.7 cm

This single crystal apatite has a size of 4.3 cm and is in perfect condition all around. The underside is also crystallized, partially overgrown with chlorite, but undamaged. The front in particular has a clearly defined shiny surface and the crystal is also a bit transparent here before it is veiled in the rear area by inclusions and internal cracks. The overall quality is certainly very good for Swiss apatite of this size!

JV198 - Quartz Sceptre - 1150€
Kreealm, Hüttschlag, St. Johann im Pongau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 8.2 x 3.5 x 2.9 cm

Several transparent sceptre heads are set atop a milky quartz which creates the dreamy aesthetics of a fairy castle. The condition is exceptionally well with no damage anywhere. Even the bottom is fully re-healed.
Have a look on our video for a better impression of this complex composition!
