Really beautiful in person and incredibly vibrant, this is an outstanding “faden”-quartz specimen with chlorite from North Waziristan. When you hold this specimen in your hands it catches and reflects the light from all directions. Best sparkling luster and brilliant clarity are combined with a wonderful aesthetics!
The quartz crystals are towering on a small piece of grey rock matrix and there is some greenish chlorite to add some color. With no damage or even abrasions at all, this is a fantastic piece indeed!

A 3 cm Ilmenite cluster on single smoky quartz crystal. The ilmenite is well crystallized, shows the characteristic reddish-brown color and sits wonderfully aesthetically on the side of the smoky quartz. A layer of hyalite has grown on the back, extending over parts of both the ilmenite and the quartz. If you shine into the smoky quartz from behind, you can see that the crystal is very transparent. In daylight, it shows a slightly yellowish color, which is why it could perhaps even be classified as citrine. The combination of rare minerals in this captivating aesthetics and in such good condition undoubtedly makes this piece unique!

A lovely little fluorite from the Berbes mining area in Spain. The piece features several interlocked cubical fluorites up to 1.4 cm with superb luster and satiated purple color! The crystals are easily lit and absolutely beautiful. The purple core is encompassed by a colorless zone which makes it even more brilliant. At close inspection you can see the very distinctive color zonation which is actually much more impressive in person than on the picture!

The distinctive bend this tourmaline crystal describes is a compelling eye-catcher. Combine that with the superb luster, the wonderful complex termination, the pronounced three colors and the fact that this is actually a complete doubly terminated crystal and you got one astonishing specimen indeed! The surface is all lustrous and with fine striations. Simply beautiful!

Three tourmaline crystals are vertically protruding from a white cluster of cleavelandite. Like the towers of a castle those crystals are rather prominent and contrast well against the white background. The dark crystals have intensive blue zones towards the pyramidal terminations which is uncommon, considering that green is by far the predominent color on comparable specimens. The condition is extremely well all over. There is a small contact on the lower front but apart from that I couldn’t see anything imperfect.
