With a length of 7.5 mm this anatase crystal is virtually a giant, compared to other Austrian anatase. Sitting on a sparkling matrix of feldspar and quartz it is truly impressive and exceptionally rare. Admittedly there is a very small abrasion at the crystal but considering size and rarity I find this very much acceptable. An outstanding piece for any collection of Alpine treasures!
A massy, yet very much elegant specimen of apatite with some accompanying adularia at the lower front. This piece was found in a pocket opened 2004 by Heinz Kirchtag and salvaged arond one year later by Kurt Nowak. The crystal is in superb condition with just some contact at the sides that have no influence on the beauty of this fine piece. Highest luster and a great composition add up to a piece of brilliant aesthetics!
A centerpiece for any collection of Austrian minerals! This large rock is totally encrusted with water-green fluorite cubes of up to 3.4 cm on edge. The crstals are mostly limpid and allow a view right through to the rock and some red-brown iron oxide in between. Sure, a large and heavy piece like this is never free of abrasions or some peripheral damage, but especially the main view is in remarkably fine condition. This fluorite largely speaks for itself and impresses with size and quality alike!
This particularly vivid specimen is an arrangement of adularia crystals of differing size and shape on matrix. The largest crystal, prominently sitting atop the structure, is around 2.5 x 2.3 cm large and mostly transparent but with some internal cracks. Some side-crystals have green chlorite coatings which adds some color to this attractive piece. The backside is mostly contacted but aside of that there is no cosiderable damage at this piece. An rich piece that has tons of details to discover at close view!
It is always a delight to see a smoky quartz specimen from the famous Rufibach find. As many of those pieces this one is cut at the bottom but this is for sure the only compromise you would have to take on this piece. The quality of all present crystals is absolutely pristine, glassy and lustrous, with perfect pointed terminations. The beautiful matrix completes this well balanced piece of striking aesthetics. Most crystals, including the larger main crystal, are right handed. We totally love this highest quality in quartz specimens and we are happy to offer this piece to our customers for a reasonable price!
Holding this specimen in hands one faces a sparkling fireworks of high quality faden quartz. The chaotic composition of different crystal habits on matrix forms a unique specimen of superb aesthetics. The main crystal, being perfectly presented at the center of this piece is doubly terminated, 9.6 cm long and fantastically lustrous. Turning it around you find this specimen to be a floater with a wonderful backside, shiny and full of structure like a wall of ice. Finding any flaws on this piece is a different thing as there virtually are none. Especially the main crystals is a showpiece of perfection!
A very well balanced matrix-piece of utter brilliance that impresses with superb luster and best crystal quality as is typical for Cavradi quartz. The composition of water-clear quartz on harmonious grey matrix is absolutely awesome and classic. The main crystal, vertically protruding from this fine piece, is 5.7 cm long, perfect all around and elegant. The backside of the matrix is cut but the impressive main view offers a distinctly natural appeal with many side-crystals of matching quality. A brilliant piece in person!
This piece is absolutely fantastic and to the point when it comes to a perfect composition. One single smoky quartz crystal of exceptional quality holds a white adularia crystal like an arm in front of its body. A striking piece of pure aesthetics that has no obvious downsides. The bottom is crystallized with small white adularia spread across the surface. While there are some contacts at the bottom and backside the whole piece is free of damage. A great piece of highest quality!
This sharp titanite is out of a spectacular new find from this spring. This specimen is a more or less complete floater that is crystallized on all sides and has only few damage, mainly at the bottom. The surface is lustrous and to a certain part transparent. Besides internal cracks and inclusions, there are brilliant patches of appealing mossy green color. All in all this is a great piece with the typicall character of the already famous find of exceptionally large and impressive titanite at Schwemmhäuslbruch in Austria.
The crystal on this piece has a very good size of 2.2 cm from tip to tip, and is well situated on a beautiful matrix in combination with some small crystals of snow white adularia. The edges of the crystal are very sharp and the color is very nice too. Over all, this is a beautiful piece with great aesthetics and perfection.
This is a dramatic piece of adularia on matrix. Truly imposing, this massy adularia with a length of around 10 cm holds great luster and is even limpid in parts. The specimen is without damage and crystallized on all sides. A great piece with appealing aesthetics!
Epidote with byssolite, albite and calcite on matrix. Fantastic! This specimen is simply unique in any respect. No reparations, no damage, not a single scratch. The piece offers a view on a alpine landscape, where green grass, moss and lichen are dominating the vegetation, scattered with rocks and some gnarled trees. The epidote is brilliantly lustrous and is in stark contrast to the white calcite. This is a superb and highly detailed piece of outstanding quality.
