The thickness of this crystal is very impressive! It is free of damage, glassy, lustrous and showing a very interesting and beautiful termination!
Typical for the location of Serifos Island, this specimen of Prase offers a very nice green color and a great composition. Like fingers of a hand these crystals provide for attention on their own. Perfect in quality and aesthetics, this specimen has no flaws whatsoever. Very nice in person!
A flash of pure aesthetics! Like a black sun with golden beams this fantastic specimen is more than just impressive. The massive core of hematite radiates fragile rutile needles to all sides in typical 60° agles. This piece is out of a smaller find from two years ago. Only few specimens arrive at the market these last years, so we are happy to present such a masterpiece. The whole piece is perfect all around and simply beautiful. Very dominant on a showcase shelf, it appears to be on fire as it is highly sparkling all around. An outstandingly brilliant piece of Brazilian rutile! Please note: Due to its fragility hand delivery is a must at this specimen. Please contact us, so we can arrange a meeting!
An elongated conical aquamarine of unusual needly-like crystal habit. It is gemmy and lusterous with some etching and inclusions at the lower half. The tip is free of any damage as the rest of this specimen is in very good condition.
The lovely aesthetics with its catchy outline speaks very much for itself. Sparkingly white and glassy quartz crystals provide a comforting nest for numerous brilliant hübnerite crystals (the largest of which is 2.1 x 1.1 cm large) that are scattered across the whole piece. It is from smaller pocket of fine specimens found in 2014. The hübnerite crystals are of brilliant luster and shape and show no damage at all. A superb piece of dramatic impact!
Delicate and highly appealing to the eye this tourmaline offers light turquoise coloring with a distinct pink termination. A pink terminated side-crystal at the front face adds a nice aspect and breaks the straight shape. The termination of the main crystal shows an interesting and distinct imprint of another crystal that leaves an unusual shape, but is fully recrystallized. Atop the imprint, there is some white feldspar covering visible. Altogether the main property about this specimen is the graceful coloring that makes it memorable.
Like a mushroom-head the main analcime crystal sits atop a black aegirine stem, that is embraced by other analcime crystals. The dramatic contrast of black and white is a real eye-catcher at this piece that impresses with unusual composition in near-perfect condition. This piece is as much unusual as it is typical for the locale at Mt. Saint-Hilaire.
The main crystal on this piece is prominently sitting on a high class quartz matrix of nice 3-dimensional composition. Especially though the color of the augelite is what impresses most: A refreshing green of intense coloring as is rare on pieces like this. The matrix is a floater with only some small contacts, while the main crystal is absolutely flawless and brilliant. A rare piece of striking aesthetics!
The shape of the main demantoid crystal on this specimen is simply unique. While it might look damaged at first sight, you will find it absolutely unharmed and just beautiful in a fascinating way. Its nice to find such an extraordinary crystal on a piece like this, perfect in composition, contrast and condition. The crystals are lustrous, rich in facets and hold a beautiful blueish green coloring.
Shaped like a burning torch and composed of exceptionally sharp copper crystals, this is truly an elegant piece. The patina exhibits a charming copper-red color with specks of lustrous bright copper showing through. A nicely 3-dimensional piece with a very much appealing character.
The red and orange coloring of ripe apples draws the eye to this superb vanadinite specimen. The crystals on this floater are of highest quality, sharp-edged, brightly colored and with brilliant luster. Nested on a baryte-matrix, this piece shows lovely aesthetics without any downsides. Shortly put, this piece is stunningly beautiful!
Fragile! Hundreds of incredibly thin boulangerite hairs are litereally interwoven on a piece of quartz matrix to form a lovely piece that nicely reminds of a ball of wool. An exceptionally aesthetic piece of perfect balance. It is depicted on page 58 of the book "Peru, Paradise of Minerals", a collection of Perus best mineral specimens. Before I managed to buy this piece it was part of the collection of the Museum Andres Del Castillo in Lima, which I personally visited this spring. A rare and appealing piece alike with no considerable damage at all.
