This specimen is a real jewel. A cluster of metallic black hematite roses is beautifully perched on a snow-white, glassy adularia crystal. The quality of this piece is just exceptional, combined on a piece of stark contrast and appealing aesthetics. Looking very closely at the backside you would find smaller imperfections but the main view is flawless and a real stunner. A high-class piece of glistening quality!
A massive compound of hematite and adularia serves as a presentation platform for one single iron rose that is perched right on its top, visible from all directions, lustrous and flawless. For a better impression of what I am talking about you really have to watch the video! This piece is even a floater with just one small contact at the bottom but otherwise in perfect condition. An unusual piece of elegance and beauty.
Who doesn't know the famous apatite from Panasqueira Mine in Portugal? The blue color, the lustrous surface, the translucent crystals. This specimen is a outstanding example for a single apatite on matrix that is a 100% flawless and perfectly shaped on all sides - you can see the complete hexahedron as the crystal touches the matrix just at one smaller zone. The matrix itself is a pretty aggregation of small apatite and siderite. A stunning thumbnail specimen that lives up to the high standards of the Panasqueira Mine.
This combination of tabular wulfenite on a matrix covered in mimetite is a staggeringly aesthetic piece from the famous San Francisco Mine in Mexico. The crystals are just perfect with a totally limpid square main plate and 3-dimensionally attached side chrystals. The wulfenite is dominantly presented atop a beautiful black matrix with matching orange mimetite. A perfect miniature specimen of brilliant quality and mind-blowing aesthetics. Water-clear and without a trace of color this quartz gwindel is an astonishing beauty! The vast majority of gwindels are smoky quartz gwindels, while this rare specimen is purely colorless. Being only 1.1 cm thick this one has a strong twist and a very typical shape. Good luster and a very good condition make this a wonderful choice for any quartz collection!
It's one of those crystals that takes every possible attempt to exceed its physical size with pure quality! The doubly terminated tourmaline holds sharp colors, from cherry red at the bottom to a fresh apple green at the top with a subtle zone of orange in between. The lower couple of millimeters is green again and closes with a perfect flat termination. The whole Tourmaline is lustrous and free of damage with a lovely termination at the top. Beautiful all around and in perfect condition!
Perfectly lustrous and glassy quartz provides a window to a marvelous internal landscape. While this crystal is already striking by itself, showing superb quality and virtually not a single scratch, most impressive about this specimen are beautiful brown inclusions, supposedly hematite or phlogopite. Especially pleasing and definitely rare, as I have never seen such a combination before!
Absolutely outstanding and breathtaking! A single liddicoatite of perfect shape and flawless in combination with a 1.2 cm londonite crystal of matching quality. The color of the tourmaline goes from red over black to a more yellow zone at the bottom. The londonite shows typical yellow coloring. The bottom of this specimen is rehealed and shows no damage or contacts. The remarkable aesthetics of this piece is very much due to the unusual termination of the liddicoatite but the rare londonite of considerable size truly adds tons of flavor!
A sparkling flame from the famous N'chwaning II find! Color and clarity of this specimen are perfect sparkling examples for the high quality this mine has produced. The rhodochrosite crystals are almost bursting with color of incredible intensity when illuminated from the back or bottom. This is definitely a piece of perfect aesthetics and highest quality in a very good condition. A real eye-catcher!
Luster and clarity of the main quartz are just incredible! At its inside you find charming inclusions of what would be hematite or maybe phlogopite. Being perched on a well balanced matrix of adularia and accompanying mica, the overall picture is a highly aesthetic one. Fun fact about this piece is the slightly unsteady main quartz that's jammed in place by side-crystals and matrix. The whole piece is in good condition with mainly just contacts at the backside.
There are pieces where everything fits, where quality and aesthetics are combined on a piece of high mineralogical value, and this is one of those pieces. The perfect pyramidal fluorite crystal is grown on a quartz and feldspar matrix with some chlorite to adds a nice color aspect in contrast to the luscious pink fluorite. Being nicely etched, the pointed termination is very much lustrous and sharp. This specimen is distinctly 3-dimensional, beautiful on all sides and without any downsides. No flaws, not broken at the bottom. This is an absolutely unique specimen from the St. Gotthard road tunnel.
Two parallel grown doubly terminated tourmaline crystals of excellent quality are accompanied by a quartz of unusual shape to form this marvelous piece. The tourmaline crystals are twins in size, shape and quality and would be totally indistinguishable could they be separated. As a unity they are impressive and lovely alike. The color is a fresh strawberry red with mossy green terminations. This whole specimen is literally free of any scratch, a perfect floater and beautiful on all sides as you can very well see on our video!
