This is a stunning quarz from Diamantina, Brazil. It has a gorgeous shape, good luster and a great color. On some spots at the upper part of the crystal it shows very fine "windows", going deep into the crystal.
This is a beautiful combination of calcite and quartz, where the calcite is very well grown on the upper side of the matrix, what gives the piece a very special aesthetics. The shape of the calcite is very interesting, with many smaller crystals stacked together. It is perfect all around!
This is a well balanced matrix piece of beautiful calcites, from Bad Bleiberg. The colorless crystals are very good visible because of the much darker matrix. Over all this is the best calcite which I have ever got from this classic locale. It is free of any damage and very 3-dimensional in person, what is also very good visible on the attached video.
This specimen shows an exceptional aestetics! One big crystal is shooting out from a gourp of smaller crystals, all well balanced and perfectly situated on matrix. The crystals are highly lustrous, glassy and with a good smoky color! The main crystal has one contact and some minor damage at the back, but this is luckily not visible from the front. This is very good visible on the video! Over all this is just small in context to the beauty of this piece and absolutly acceptable, even for the advanced collector. Very impressive in person!
Incredible coloring, a fantastic etched surface and a completely gemmy quality! Not much to say, this doubly terminated heliodor is a perfect treasure for any showcase! Found at the famous Green Walking Stick Mine in Zimbabwe this piece leaves nothing but speechless admirers on its path to its final resting place in your showcase. Be sure to have a closer look on this one!
This is truly remarkable! Not just is this one of the thickest “faden†I’ve ever seen (about 0.5 cm in diameter) but also is it around 20 degree bent throughout the specimen! The quartz itself perfect in any respect: No damage, amazing clarity and luster, superb aesthetics. The piece is even a floater! Wonderful details you would not want to miss are some small epidote crystals, one of which is even inside the quartz (!), to give the piece some appealing specks of color and a flavor of the Swiss Alps.
Distinctly 3-dimensional, flawless and incredibly detailed, this stibnite is just mind-blowing in all its beautyful perfection. In a way it looks like an explosion - frozen in time. Thousands of brilliantly lustrous and completely undamaged crystals form a specimen of overwhelming aesthetics. To see the sparkling fireworks, I strongly suggest you watch the video. Still, this piece looks even better in person. Lovely, marvelous and flawless on all sides.
Holding this piece in my hands, I find it a pity that there are so few matrix pieces of high quality tourmaline around. This specimen is a fantastic composition of several quartz crystals holding gemmy tourmalines all over and even inside. The longest tourmaline is 6.2 cm long, free of any damage or even internal cracks and of wonderful green color that gradually changes to turquoise at the tip. A superb piece of outstanding aesthetic. The quartz itself is opaque but crystallized at the bottom and overall in good condition. The tourmaline is perfect and not repaired. Absolutely amazing!
Color and brilliance of this emerald are absolutely stunning! The contrast on a perfectly black and white matrix is just spectacular and simply beautiful. There is some edgewear and contact present, true, but the general condition is fine enough, especially considering the crystal size of 1.3 cm x 1.1 cm and its high quality. Without question this is a true marvel!
An intensely yellow barite of fascinating growth pattern and a thickness of considerable 0.7 cm. The crystal is perfectly positioned on a fine white matrix-piece of just the right proportion. The aesthetics of this specimen is rightous spectacular. There is virtually no scratch here and no downside. An extraordinary piece!
This thumbnail piece is a nice and characteristic example for the 2014 find at the Andaychagua Mine. A single "herringbone" aggregate plate rises from a well proportioned piece of white calcite matrix. The silver is very thin and fragile yet in perfect condition and naturally appealing. Depending on the light the silvery-grey color shows a vivid sheen all around and draws attention to itself. Smaller silver fronds at the sides perfect the aesthetic picture of this lovely piece. A high small yet classy specimen from this new Peruvian locale.
A single hematite rose of remarkable 2.2 cm in diameter sits on a adularia matrix and creates a perfect textbook composition. The hematite has mirroring luster and is flawless. The adularia is a floater with a nice green chlorite coating and small quartz crystals. All of this adds up to a wonderful piece of typical Alpine character and very much appealing aesthetics that is perfect all around.
