TN18 - Fluorite - SOLD
Riemvasmaak, Kakamas, Northern Cape Province, South Africa
Size: 9.6 x 8.6 x 3.8 cm

It’s the bright green colored fluorite in contrast to white quartz and the rust-colored matrix that catches the eye at this wonderful specimen. Numerous octahedral crystals of different sizes are spread across the surface, struggling for attention. The largest is 2.2 cm on edge! Despite its size, this piece is truly graceful and outstanding in quality and aesthetics for the location.

KR46 - Ruby - SOLD
Luc Yen, Yenbai Province, Vietnam
Size: 3.8 x 3.4 x 2.3 cm

WOW, this is the dream of every collector! A fat and intense red ruby is shooting out very smartly from the matrix here. Besides the beautiful color it is showing great aesthetics and contrast.

AA45 - Anatase - SOLD
Crapteig, Thusis, Domleschg, Hinterrhein Valley, Graubünden, Switzerland
Size: 5.7 x 4.9 x 4.4 cm

Very beautiful and extremely rare, this specimen is something special indeed. The size of the anatase crystals is up to about 9 millimeters, which might not sound much but is actually, considering the locality, really something! The crystals are lustrous with totally sharp edges and are nested in a white and brownish matrix, accompanied by a couple of quartz crystals. A rarity for any collector of Alpine minerals.

FA131 - Amethyst - SOLD
Schönberg, Schwarzenbachtal, Ahrntal, Südtirol, Italy
Size: 8.4 x 7.1 x 7.1 cm

A matrix-piece of amethyst is a rare find in the Alps, so I am happy to offer this special one. Nice and clear, this piece offers an insight into a cleft, where clear quartz and amethyst have peacfully grown. At closer view you will find the main amethyst crystals to be scepters with sharp, clear and nicely purple heads. A rare piece of nice details.

FA53 - Crocoite - SOLD
Adelaide Mine, Dundas, Tasmania, Australia
Size: 8.2 x 3.3 x 1.8 cm

While numerous new pieces of crocoite are availale each year, it is long past that I have seen crystals of such extraordinary size entering the market. These three crystals towering like skyscrapers are exceptionally large and up to 7 mm in diameter! At the bottom and the backside you can see some matrix as well as some accompanying smaller crystals. I call this an outstanding piece for the sheer size of the crystals!

SK07 - Hematite ps. Magnetite - SOLD
Payún volcano, Altiplano de Payún Matru, Malargüe Department, Mendoza, Argentina
Size: 10 x 4.5 x 5 cm

This distinctly 3-dimensional piece is utterly unique! Like a bursting flame this specimen is sparkling all around and in just perfect condition. Every smallest detail on this hematite specimen is just right. I'm not sure if I have ever seen a pseudomorphosis of this impact. All over this piece you can identify the sharp magnetite crystals that have been replaced with hematite. The main part is shaped like a cross when view from the top which gives it a dynamic look. A smaller side-crystal perfects the picture. Beautiful all around, there are no downsides on this piece. For a better view on all sides, please watch the video!

AB24 - Epidote - SOLD
Knappenwand, Untersulzbachtal, Pinzgau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 7.1 x 6.3 x 3.2 cm

A true masterpiece of just perfect composition and outstanding quality! The dramatic “V”-shape of the (not repaired!) epidote crystals in combination with snow-white albite for contrast is simply amazing. Pure textbook aesthetics! Nevertheless, there is one small flaw. A part of the left crystal – that thin part that surmounts the thicker crystal – is broken at the top, right where the small white albite sits. While this does not quite catch the eye, it is a point to know about. Fortunately the rest of this fabulous piece is unblemished and strikes with fantastic luster and dizzying beauty.

PB131 - Morganite on Albite with Tourmaline - SOLD
Dara-i-Pech pegmatite field, Chapa Dara District, Konar Province, Afghanistan
Size: 11.3 x 6.4 x 6.7 cm

A large, unusual and undamaged crystal of morganite is protruding from a white matrix of bladed cleavelandite, with accenting light green tourmaline. The morganite measures a stunning 5.5 cm in length and 3 cm across the termination. All faces of the morganite are nicely etched and sparkingly reflect the light in all angles. A fantastic piece of unusual crystal habit (not the typical hexagonal morganite) that is as beautiful as it is rare.

FA233 - Olivine var. Peridot - SOLD
Sapat Gali, Naran-Kaghan valley, Mansehra District, Pakistan
Size: 3 x 2.1 x 1.9 cm

Several transparent crystals of peridot that radiate with fabulous fresh green color and vitreous luster even at low illumination. The shape is rounded but shows the typical prismatic habit. This is top quality gemmy peridot on matrix, free of damage and striking person!

SS13 - Quartz Gwindel - SOLD
Druntobel, Sedrun, Tujetsch, Vorderrhein Valley, Grischun, Switzerland
Size: 5.6 x 3.3 x 1.4 cm

If you are as much into gwindels as we are, then you know how difficult it is to find thin specimens with a distinct twist. However, we'd like to show you this striking piece so go on and have a look on our video where this twist of around 55-60° is much better discernible. The whole gwindel is in good condition with no considerable damage and a recrystallized bottom. Indeed a wonderful piece in person and especially hard to come by!

RK275 - Crocoite - SOLD
Adelaide Mine, Dundas, Tasmania, Australia
Size: 5.8 x 3.2 x 2.7 cm

A nicely 3-dimensional piece of limonite matrix with vividly orange crocoite needles all over it. The piece has been held in a closed box which prevented the fragile crystals from damage and kept the whole thing in good condition. A characteristic and appealing Adelaide Mine piece!

RK332 - Quartz - SOLD

Beautiful aesthetics meets best crystal quality! An utterly brilliant arrowhead shaped quartz, accompanied by a evenly fine side crystal, dramatically emerges from the top of a silvery schist matrix. At the crystals foot there is a cluster of matrix-like quartz to support the main crystal. Completely water-clear, flawless and with superb luster on all sides, this crystal is just terrific and highly appealing!
