WOW, a steel blue indigolite of high quality is perfectly shooting out of the matrix in a dramatic way. The beautiful long elongated crystal has an impressive length of 9.5cm and shows a very fine pointed termination. It is repaired once, what is highly accepted by many collectors, as more or less all pieces are repaired from this mine! The matrix consists of feldspar, some lepidolite and good crystalized quartz. It is a while ago now sice a good pocked was found at the Pederneira mine and I was very lucky to find such a good piece in an old collection.

AA44 - Quartz - SOLD

A group of perfectly clear quartz crystals fanning-out and reaching to the sky. While the upper crystals are of truly fantastic luster and sharpness (you can see through them as through a window!) the ones at the bottom are milky but still without damage. The crystals are almost colorless but possess a very slight coloring as is typical for the region of Cavradi. The “v”-shaped zones at the bottom are contacted and to the most part healed. What add an extra bonus to the general appearance are numerous white calcite crystals, spread across the whole piece. Especially lovely in my opinion are those tiny ones, sitting atop the terminations of the quartz. Very lively and pretty!

A perfect 6.2 cm smoky quartz crystal is accompanied by a smaller, 4.1 cm long side-crystal of matching quality. The quartz is all clear and lustrous, sharp and without damage. The main crystal has a minimal issue at the front but which is fully re-healed. A nice little specimen without compromise.

FA82 - Vanadinite - SOLD
Mibladen, Midelt, Khenifra Province, Morocco
Size: 7.1 x 3.3 x 3.2 cm

Unusually shaped like a twinsting tornado of sharp and intensively red vanadinite. Especially the frontside shows crystals of brilliant quality, while the also well crystallized backside is largely covered in a ochre-colored coating. Still, the most unusual part about this piece is the shape which, apart from one tiny ding at the backside, just perfect all around. A beautiful floater with sharp, strawberry-red crystals attractively arranged!

SS03 - Quartz - SOLD

Impressive in size, quality and due to its unique composition this is a fantastic piece and actually one of the most beautiful Swiss quartz specimens we have ever layed eyes on! It has been found by Alfons Derungs and was for many years a center piece of his collection. Every single crystal is in absolutely perfect condition with sharp termination and highest luster. The quartz is gemmy with nice smaller phantoms at some spots. At the backside of the main crystals you find smaller attached crystals that are beautifully reflecting through the glassy quartz. A fabulous cluster of quartz on a matrix that provides a stark contrast. We are proud to be able to present such an extraordinary piece!

XY39 - Fluorite - SOLD

Definitely one of the nicer fluorite pieces I have seen so far, coming from Göschener Alp. An absolutely lovey floater that holds a composition of brilliant pink fluorite and contrasting white adularia. All crystals are of high quality. Bright color, a limpid inside and wonderful luster. Aside of one or two contacts at the back this piece is free of any damage and remarkably appealing all around.

This is a brilliant and particularly aesthetic fluorite specimen. A single colorless fluorite cube is based atop a lovely crystallzid matrix, accompanied by rhombohedral calcite crystals. The fluorite is water-clear to the core with a shiny surface. The cube is almost coplete with seven visible corners one of which, the one at the very front, is nicely modified. An overall attractive spcimen of outstanding quality and striking aesthetics!
