GM28 - Smoky Quartz - SOLD
Galmihorn, Münster, Wallis, Switzerland
Size: 8 x 5 x 3.2 cm
Watch Video

A highly unusual, pincer-shaped smoky quartz specimen that is utterly unique. The transparent quartz is massively modified at one half with a manifold of lustrous faces yet shows straight quartz crystallization on the other half - even if the growth pattern is hard to recognize. As a floater this quartz seems flawless on all sides except for one, not quite obvious damage at the tip of the smaller part of the pincer. An eye-catcher for the collector of unusual crystal shapes or appealing, unique Alpine minerals!

PA22 - Quartz Sceptre - SOLD
Brand, Felbertal, Pinzgau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 6.7 x 3 x 2.6 cm
Watch Video

A doubly terminated smoky quartz floater with a distinctly developed scepter head. The crystal is translucent to transparent, where especially the terminations are quite clear. The whole piece is free of damage with only minor edgewear here and there. One side-crystal is broken but re-healed, the main crystal is all complete and sharp. An interesting and unusual specimen from this uncommon locale in Felbertal!

WZ15 - Rutile included Quartz - SOLD
Ankogelgruppe, Anlauftal, Gasteinertal, Pongau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 5.7 x 3.1 x 2.7 cm

The glassy and lustous quartz includes sharp and thick needles of red rutile. The color combination of rutile and orange limonite is quite dramatic and beautiful in person. Turning the piece around you will find a distinct sagenite pattern that covers the bottom and parts of the lower backside before immersing into the quartz. With no damage at all on best quality quartz and utterly attractive inner life, this is a wonderful specimen that's equally unusual and appealing!

KW1 - Copper - SOLD
Cornwall, England, United Kingdom

This is the very best copper I have ever had from this locale. It is well-crystallized sitting very nice on matrix. This classic specimen looks exceptional on the picture, though it is even better in person. It's very 3-dimensional and complete all around.

AT61 - Pyrite - SOLD
Lukmanierpass, Adula Alpen, Tessin, Switzerland
Size: 6.1 x 4.6 x 3.5 cm

This is the best pyrite I have ever got from the Swiss Alps. It has a very nice brownish red color and with a size of 6.1cm it is very impressive in person. Most of the pyrites I have seen comes from Austira and even there this would be a fine specimen. Very hard to get, especially in Switzerland.

KA01 - Morganite - SOLD
Minas Gerais, Brazil
Size: 10.8 x 4.8 x 3.5 cm

This etched crystal of morganite is crystallized very well all around. The color is pale pink and the luster is excellent. The etching is very interesting on this specimen, because it gives it a sculpture-like shape, what looks beautiful in person. Most areas of this crystal have gem quality!
