This impressive piece of fluorite on quartz is a well composed play of colors and shape. Several groups of green fluorite octahedrons with dark purple edges are perched on thousands of white quartz needles, covering a massive green fluorite matrix. Dispite its size this piece shows lovely aesthetics. Hundreds of fluorite crystals up to 2 cm on edge and in perfect condition are forming an appealing specimen. A remarkable piece of unusual beauty!
One single tourmaline crystal of exceptional quality is shooting out from a massive smoky quartz crystal in a way I have rarely seen before. At closer sight you see the tourmaline continuing inside the quartz for maybe another 2 cm. While the quartz is in good condition but dull, the tourmaline is absolutely pristine - gemmy, lustrous and of fine pink color, with a transparent, bluish zone in the middle. This is an incredibly rare composition of wonderful aesthetics, and not repaired.
A luscious purple heart is nested on a greenish fluorite as if it was set there on purpose. Unlike with other specimens from Zogno where this purple zone is deep inside the green flurote, here it is free and directly visible. This piece is a floater in generally good condition with some minor chips that are but hardly visible amidst the manifold details this excellent piece offers. An unusual and utterly beautiful fluorite from this famous locale!
This is an impressive piece, large and with exceptional luster. It is a 3-dimensional floater that is a virtually perfect all around. Yes, smaller edge wear is inevitably on a massy piece like this, but honestly, it is surprisingly scarce on this excellent specimen. I totally love the imposing yet lovely aesthetics, the dashy outline, the brilliant quality. A real eye-catcher that might serve as a center-piece in any collection of fine peruvian minerals. Have a look on the video, and you will know what I mean!
Two tourmaline crystals of amazing color-play are grown together to form this unique piece. The crystals do not need much light to reveal their intense colors that range from mossy green to a juicy raspberry red. The terminations are perfect, with only one re-healed chip. A specimen of impressive colors and nice arrangement.
One single titanite crystal, 2.1 cm long and 1.2 cm broad, sits enthroned atop a beautiful matrix, a combination of quartz, calcite, pericline and chlorite. The titanite is of pleasant apple green color, highly lustrous and translucent. There is one tiny, barely discernible chip at the backside but which is more than negligible on a unique and aesthetic piece like this. Outstanding in every way!
A wonderful, marvelous piece of Alpine fluorite on matrix. The pink octahedrons are tightly packed on a snow-white matrix, accompanied by some brilliant quartz crystals. The fluorite is mostly transparent, lustrous and generally in fine condition. Some contacts here and there do not disturb from the overall visual splendor of this classy specimen. The quartz on the upper left was moving just a little, why we stabilized it to make sure not to get it loose. Absolutely breathtaking in person and a real Alpine rarity of highest quality!
Absolutely marvelous in person, this floater is like the essence of beauty! Several highly lustrous hematite roses are perched on a lovely matrix of silvery muscovite, rust brown rutile and some colorless adularia. The playfulness of this specimen is hard to beat, combining great luster, contrast, colors and a distinct outline on one piece. There is one single damaged hematite but which is quickly forgotten on the sheer amount of beautiful details this fine specimen has to offer. Amazingly attracive and extremely rare!
That's exactly how an Alpine scheelite is supposed to look! Perfect dipyramidal shape and juicy orange color are combined on this absolutely unique crystal that is complete all around and without any damage. The crystal is translucent, in parts even transparent and shows nice luster. A fantastic piece that doesn't need more words, only one last one: WOW!
The glassy clarity of this gwindel is phenomenal and very good visible on the attached video. While smoky gwindels are much more common in Switzerland, it is very hard to find any quartz gwindels without the smoky color. This is a beautiful specimen flawless all around!
This is an awesome cluster of smoky quartz with great aesthetics and perfection! It is a floater all around without any damage! The crystals have a very good color, clarity and luster. Beautiful in person!
A very nice crystal with a stuning deep red termination! It is translucend, lustrous and in a very good condition!
