Two flawless, beautifully grown pink fluorite crystals of remarkable size are well centered on a white quartz and adularia matrix. The larger fluorite is absolutely striking with 2.6 cm on edge and a very intensive pink color that shines even in low light. The crystal quality is top! At some spots you can see right through to the bottom which even for Zinggenstock standars is extremely rare! There is no downside at all on this piece and also the second crystal is perfect in any respect.
Brilliant on the picture, even better in person!
What a unique curiosity! A plate of hematite is completetly intergrown inside this quartz. My first thought was, this must be from the Cavradi area, but it is coming from South Tyrol, what astounded me even more. The hematite is very good visible from the front side, as the quartz has a very good quality with almost no inclusions or cracks inside! Just have a look at the video, it speaks for itself!
This crystal is intense red, translucent and highly lustrous! Some tiny edgewear is present at the termination, but over all the crystal is in a very good condition! Great quality and beautiful in person!
This adularia twin stands out through its massive size. To get a better impression, please watch the video! The front face is lustrous and clear, while the sides and back are mostly covered in chlorite. The piece is a floater and crystallized all around. Truly impressive and in very good condition!
Two adularia crystals are grown together to a quite impressive floater-piece of good quality here. The crystals are glassy and show very nice luster. Most beautiful about this specimen is the surface of the polyhedral main crystal, which reflects the light in many ways and shows rainbow-colors at the core. A very nice effect on a virtually flawless piece!
This thumbnail shows utter brilliance, a doubly terminated amethyst crystal, water clear and on a nice quartz matrix. The amethyst is especially sharp and virtually free of any kind of imperfections, save for one incredibly small chip that is, if at all, visible only from the backside. The amethysts surface is highly lustrous on 360°. The supporting quartz matrix shows good luster and is covered in some iron-oxide to provide contrast. All in all this is a real marvel of highest quality!
Perfect textbook aesthetics combined with high quality crystals is like the holy grail for every mineral collector. This smaller specimen nicely offers these characteristics. Brilliantly lustrous tabular hematite with brightly red rutile, presented on a small matrix-piece that is covered with calcite on all sides. Still, there is one blemish to be mentioned: A small break at the very top, that loweres the price on this otherwise perfect specimen. A fantastic piece if you can live with a small imperfection!
A octahedral pyrite crystal on a contrasting white quartz matrix, strikingly aesthetic and of impressive crystal size. The main pyrite is flawless and a staggering 5.3 cm in diameter (4.1 cm on edge). The surface is somewhat rough but not damaged. In combination with just the right amount of quartz this is a very attractive specimen from the famous pyrite deposite in Peru.
Impressive and fat! This quartz specimen is completely amazing! Perfect in every respect it offers brilliant crystallization all over - even the bottom is sparkling and complete - and a sharp and flawless termination. The surface is highly lustrous and just beautifully structured. Exceeding its status of a single crystal by far this mesmerizing quartz instantly draws attention. Have a look on our video, there are no further words necessary!
Alpine bornie is a rare thing to get thus we are happy to present such a classy specimen here. A large number of bornite crystals are distributed across the matrix that is otherwise covered in yellowish mica. The metallic black bornite stand in stark contrast to the background which makes for a nice appearance. About damage there is not much to report with some peripheral exceptions but nothing serious. A charming piece for the collector of Alpine classics and rare specimens in general. in den Alpen sehr selten. Bekannter Kupferbergbau am fuße des Hochkönigs. Nicht mehr aktiv.
Here you can see a beautiful smoky crystal on matrix of very high quality. It has a very nice smoky color, of middle intensity. The crystal is very glassy and lustrous. Some small adularia is attached to the matrix. Free of damage!
This is a very lovely fluroite from an old find at the Hocharn Westwand, well known as the "Reiter pocket"! Only a very few good pieces was found there! It is very risky to collect at this place, because it is in the middle of a vertical wall, and sadly the guy who found it died at this place. I personaly like these a lot because of the beautiful intense purple color!
