Clarity, shape and luster. This brilliant skeletal quartz is absolutely water-clear, free of internal cracks, beautifully etched and completely flawless all around. It stands like a monument, ponderous and strong yet filigree and full of lovely details. The shape of this crystal still resembles the original hexagonal quartz prism but gets more and more skeletal to the tip. The bottom is fully crystallized as well and shows incredulous surface structure. While most known skeletal quartz of comparable quality are from Habach Valley, this very specimen has been found in Felbertal, making it even more valuable to collectors. This is truly one of a kind, majestetic and marvelous!
Right, this is not a titanite in natural form and right again, we are not usually selling cut stones. But this little gem totally caught my attention as it is so full of vivid, sparkling color. The gemmy apple green color is accompanied by some red-brown patches which provides an excellent visual effect. A perfect cut reveals the beauty of a crystal in a way nature not always accomplishes. As my heart always beats for Austrian minerals I surely am even more taken by this cut titanite from Felbertal. A real marvel of perfect shape and quality!
Perfectly composed and of brilliant crystal quality, this is a highly appealing specimen. The quartz shows attractive smoky color and despite some clouds at its body you can still to the most part see through the 3.5 cm thick crystal. With just marvelous luster and beautiful striation on 360° this crystal simply impresses. It emerges from a base of accompanying quartz, nicely colored with iron oxide. When turning it around you will find some contacts but it seems this specimen went off easily as there are no breaks even at the bottom. A wonderful piece of superb aesthetics and brilliant crystal quality!
A single tessin habit quartz crystal, strikingly clear, brilliantly lustrous and absolutely flawless. The many beautiful details of surface structure and growth habit are absolutely engaging and leave no wish open. The crystal grew on pericline of which you find some remain at the bottom. There is not much to say about this specimen so go ahead, watch the video and enjoy!
With a length of over 12 cm this dominant quartz crystal is most impressive and shows outstanding quality. The wonderfully structured surface is lustrous, all the way up to a perfect termination. The quartz is gemmy clear with very slight phantoms at the upper part. It’s nice to see this beautiful crystal accompanied by other quartz and some matrix. If you look closely, you can even see the bottom crystallized at this specimen. This is a true classic for any Alpine collection!
The main crystal on this specimen stands out like a sweet candy. Perfectly clear, lustrous and doubly-terminated, it sits on a cluster of smaller quartz crystals of the same quality. This fascinating aesthetics is one of a kind and even improved by smaller inclusions. The bottom is fully crystallized and the whole piece is in a good condition, with just some small damage which hardly visible.
This unusually composed specimen holds a special kind of chaotic beauty that roots in an assembly of different quartz (elongated or compact, clear white or slightly tinged), a number of calcite blades and some matrix. The quality is overall high with no major damage. A very special piece, rich in details and just exceptional in any way!
A doubly-terminated floater with the slight amethyst-coloring that’s typical for the location. The terminations of this elegant crystal display beautiful windows. The prismatic faces are etched which is very pretty and attractive. All in all, this is a very interesting and nice piece for any collector of Alpine minerals or uncommon quartz specimens.
Seldom - if ever - have we seen a historical classic like this! The composition is just perfect: Green malachite and shiny blue azurite, grown on a generation of dolomite crystals, covering a white matrix. The contrast and play of colors is simply spectacular! A truly remarkable piece, one of which is more than hard to come by these days from this classic locale.
To unveil the fabulous beauty of this specimen you HAVE to watch the video! The striking main crystals seem to be riding on this group of smaller quartz crystals like on a frozen wave. This piece is fantastically 3-dimensional, shows best quality and exceptional aesthetics. Fabulous indeed!
An incredible and truly exceptional piece of fluorite! This single crystal of rare habit is perfectly situated on a prettily sparkling matrix. The fluorite is plainly outstanding and mysteriously attractive like a pearl in an oyster. The fluorite is mostly colorless but has a nice pink core. Because of the flawless quality, this color is nicely visible! This sublime piece has a long history and is now on sale again.
The single isolated schwatzite sits on a white quartz-matrix that provides a perfect contrast. Even more so, as the schwatzite is encrusted with a nice layer of turquoise malachite that adds some color. The piece is aesthetic and perfectly composed to lead the eye to its center: The single schwatzite crystal.
