PB151 - Barite - 380€
Huanzala Mine, Huallanca District, Dos de Mayo Province, Peru
Size: 5.5 x 4.7 x 3.4 cm
Watch Video

A panel of glassy, sharp and very well developed barite freely protrudes from a small piece of dolomite matrix. The piece has a much more 3-dimensional feeling than the picture would suggest so for a better view I recommend our video! The crystal - or rather the two crystals, as those are in fact two parallel panels - are of best quality, highly lustrous on all sides and with only one rehealed chip at the gap between the crystals. With 4.5 cm length the barite is remarkably large for the locale and dominant on the specimen. Absolultely appealing in person!

DK1 - Gold - 5800€
Verespatak, Transsylvania, Romania
Size: 3.8 x 1.8 x 1 cm

A thin sheet of very shiny and well defined gold of a strong yellow color, quite exceptional for the locale. Besides the outstanding color, it’s the surface that makes this piece so special. Both sides show incredibly detailed crystallizations with triangular shapes distributed all over it. Combined with a distinctive outline and great luster this adds up to a fantastic piece altogether! It is complete all around, distinctive and quite catchy for a piece that size!

DK20 - Barite - 1000€
Băiuț, Maramureș Co., Romania
Size: 9.8 x 7.9 x 5.8 cm

A characteristic combination of snow white tabular barite on a bed of metallic stibnite. The barite comes as up to 5 cm large and around 0.7 cm thick sharp plates that are translucent to transparent with all main crystals in perfect shape. The contrast to the metallic grey, tufted stibnite is quite striking in person! There is no considerable damage here only some minor peripheral issues which are totally acceptable on a major piece like this! All in all this is a great, elegant and very classy piece from Băiuț, Romania which did not produce new specimen for many years now.

BL53 - Azurite - 575€
La Sal, San Juan Co., Utah, USA
Size: 5.1 x 4.4 x 2.3 cm
Watch Video

An azurite floater aggregate of lovely crystallization all around with no damage or contact anywhere to be found. This shape is classic for the now unactive locale near La Sal. The azurite is flashy and sparkling with hundreds of wedge shaped crystals. At some spots there are hidden hints of malachite, the rest is just pure blue joy without compromise!

This fine gold specimen is out of a completely new find from 2015 that has rapidly made a name for itself as a source for world class gold specimens. Best color, filigree growth and a vibrant sheen are trademark for this locale and are main feature of this very specimen. The ferny hoppered growth on this piece is perfect to the last detail and 3-dimensionally alive. It is a perfect floater and free of any abrasions or the like. A fantastically fine piece with no downsides!
