Vibrant, 3-dimensional and of dramatic size!
This is a distinctive and highly aesthetic quartz specimen from the Rauris Valley that shows fantastic quality and a very lively, untamed appearance. The quartz is to the largest part limpid with best luster. It is a combination of several doubly terminated crystals that are connected in unusual angles.
What used to be a 5.7 cm thick main crystal accompanied by a smaller side-crystal detatched from the matrix and completely re-crystallized at the bottom to form this unusual and absolutely marvellous piece. The crystal is of light smoky brown color and clear as glass. The surface ranges from medium to perfect mirroring luster and is beautifully structured on all sides. There is no damage to worry about. Some small hematite together with the superb quality mark this fine quartz as a characteristic Cavradi specimen!
This is completely marvellous in person! It is a floater specimen with absolutely no damage at all!
Both front and backside show lovely structured hematite petals to the hundreds which creates a vivid sparkling effect. Most of the metallic faces show some chloritization but not as much as to prevent the luster from shining! Some white adularia near the bottom adds a nice contrast without taking away from the classy appearance of this piece.
I love it and you will love it too!
A characteristic Rauris specimen of superb quality and attractive composition. The quartz is water-clear and shows best wet-look luster on all sides. The termination is typical Tessin habit with only minimal wear. At the lower parts it is accompanied by white pericline, grey-green chlorite and orange-red iron oxide to add some color. Very attractive in person and without any damage!
Wow, what a fantastic green titanite! This crystal is all gemmy and marvellously lustrous with a deep mossy green color. The main crystal is incredibly thick, around 1.2 cm(!), and shows a smaller twin crystal at the backside. There is no damage visible, only some rough edges. The bottom is contacted but not freshly broken. A rare jewel without any downsides!
A fantastic combination of a large, water clear skeletal quartz on a snow white adularia matrix. The whole thing is a floater and undamaged all around. I actually find both the front and the back absolutely beautiful, with a different character but matching quality. The quartz is all perfect, nicely skeletallized and shows some, but very little, chlorite. The adularia is sharp, translucent white and also associated with chlorite. Between the gaps you will also find some minimal green titanite which even more emphasizes the Alpine character of this exceptional piece. Best quality meets unbeatable, unique aesthetics!
This crystal shows absolutely best luster, especially at the main view with the large terminal face which grants a look deep into the limpid crystal. It is complete on all sides and the bottom as well, where there are fully re-crystallized contacts, partly covered in some dark green chlorite. The whole piece is in fact flawless and a marvelous example for best quality Felbertal quartz!
A group of snow-white quartz with super luster is the perfect base for a pair of sharp, doubly terminated anatase crystals that are presented right at the top of this exceptional specimen. Anatase from the Alps is extremely rare but hardly ever have I seen an aesthetic piece like this with such high class crystals. The anatase is around 1 cm in size and in best condition. The quartz shows some contacts but is well crystallized on all sides. A lovely specimen of superb aesthetics!
Very characteristic for Swiss Alps this piece shows smoky quartz in combination with white adularia on a rock-matrix. Except for some peripheral contacts there is no damage to report. The quartz is all clear and sharp, superbly lustrous and comes in both, the right-handed and the left-handed variant. Its color is a bit paler than on the picture, you might want to check the video for that aspect. This is a charming Alpine specimen from the not so common Aletsch Glacier!
A gorgeous little quartz specimen of best quality with a distinct "Faden" at the center. The piece is 360° complete and has only very minimal edgewear. The quartz is clear and sharp at the terminations left and right with the characteristic milky white zone that runs from bottom to top. A near-perfect specimen with bright luster on all sides!
This is an enormous adularia crystal that is in excellent condition despite its size and weight. Sure, one or two smaller abrasions are present and there is one damage at the backside but nothing that would impair the overall stunning effect of this great specimen! The crystal is all translucent white with good to great luster on its many faces. Definitely a smashing rock!
An utterly attractuve quartz specimen of well defined composition on matrix. The main crystal is 5.5 cm long, perfect and has good luster at the front. The backside is frosted and adds a milky look to the water-clear crystal. Several side-crystals are evenly flawless and make for a great picture. A nice Swiss quartz of great aesthetics!
