You will find not one but three chlorite phantoms inside this quartz! The crystal itself is to the very most part clear as a window but has a covering at the backside (which falsely appears as impurities on the pictures). Please watch the video for a better impression on this part! The quartz is virtually free of damage and has just some tiny edgewear at the lower part. Nothing to worry about, considering the beauty, size and downright uniqueness of this piece!
While the general shape of this calcite is very typical for the locale, this is definitely one of the best crystals we have seen from there. The dagger-shaped elongated calcite is free of damage and beautifully imposing for its 3-dimensional form. The color is a greyish beige that varies throughout the crystal. With a size of almost 15 cm this is an outstanding and attractive specimen.
One single sparkling green crystal of pargasite is perched on a snow-white matrix of just the right proportion. The perfect composition with a dramatic contrast catches the eye immediately! The crystal itself shows a fantastic color that even exceeds that of the picture. Please watch the video for a better view!We were lucky to get this piece out of a collection with an older label that dates back to 2002. A nice piece of great luster, clarity and a remarkably bright green color!
When it comes to composition, this piece is outstanding. Two doubly terminated quartz crystals of high luster and clarity are nicely perched on a pericline-matrix. The specimen is in perfect condition. The largest main crystal has a length of 5.4 cm. All in all this is a remarkable piece with no downsides.
A perfect floater, etched all around and completely flawless. The crystal is mainly colorless with a soothing purple core. Inside the crystal you can see small spots of yellow matrix that add some interesting color-effect. All in all this is a piece of simple beauty, perfectly shaped by mother nature and totally unblemished.
This gold is from a very old find. We have a label that dates to 1958, but the specimen itself could even be older. Very appealing, looming like a sculpture, this remarkable piece is a cleft specimen with even some crystallized calcite visible. The gold is very shiny and emerges from the matrix on all sides, which adds a distinct 3-dimensional character. Very nice and rare from this classic locale!
This is a very good garnet from Tyrol! A large number of single isolated almandine crystals are well grown on a silvery mica-schist matrix that makes for a great contrast to the dark, dark red garnet crystals! Very good in person!
