When I got this marvel out of the lab I was totally overwhelmed! The rather large hematite rose dramatically sits atop a white contrasting albite matrix of stunning sparkling quality. The hematite itself is 3.3 cm in diameter and massive 1.2 cm thick, all perfect and of brilliant luster. I totally love the aesthetics of this very well balanced piece that is a real eye-catcher in person and free of any damage. If you look closely you can even make out some small apple green titanite among the albite. Absolutely outstanding and impressive!
A beautiful specimen of highly lustrous fluorite cubes with great purple color and very nice phantoms inside. It is in combination with small quartz and white barite which makes for a fantastic aesthetics. As you can see in our video the piece is crystallized all around and in very best condition. Color contrast, sparkling luster and a sweeping architecture all add for this exceptional Berbes fluorite specimen!
Massive towering jet-black sphalerite, well developed as a complete floater with no damage at all. The backside and bottom are covered in lovely white calcite, the front is pure metallic black, a sculpture of intergrown tetrahedral sphalerite. A well aesthetic specimen that is very much appealing on 360°.
Like green icing on white sugar cubes, the dioptase forms a coating of microcrystals over white calcite. The rhombohedral calcite up to 0.8 cm on edge are evenly distributed about a grey matrix, the green dioptase has settled on it like snow, covering only the left upper faces. An absolutely lovely piece of light green and white color that's sparkling with hundreds and thousands of tiny crystals!
Hold your breath and have a good look on our video for a 360° view of this masterpiece! This tremendous hematite rose is 4.5 cm broad and staggering 3.9 cm thick! Hundreds of layers of crystallized iron oxide are composing this massive sparkling ball, shaped like a snail shell. This flawless hematite sits on a nice little piece of adularia matrix, contrasting and sparkling. A fantastic and just outstanding Alpine hematite specimen from the famous St. Gotthard Massif!
This is a cluster of sharp metallic tetrahedrite in association with pyrite and quartz. The piece is in very good shape with only some very minor edge-wear. The largest tetrahedrite is 2.8 cm on edge and flawless. The tetrahedrite cluster sits on some golden shining pyrite and is associated with white quartz crystals. A very attractive and much characteristic paragenesis from the Mundo Nuevo Mine with a direct focus to the tetrahedrite!
Marvelous, blinding luster mirrors the light like a disco ball - much better than the picture can possibly show!
This piece is a real stunner that shows no damage or contacts at all. The backside is encrusted with some chlorite but even that does not completely obscure the brilliant quality of this hematite specimen. At the lower right there is a small glassy quartz crystal that is evenly perfect with a crystallized bottom.
Lovely aesthetics meets superb quality!
The main crystal on this specimen is a doubly terminated, 14.7 cm long and virtually flawless crystal of decent smoky color. It virtically protrudes from a vivid rock/quartz/adularia matrix that is completely crystallized on all sides. The quartz is limpid with only a few internal cracks and shows very good luster all around. Wonderful quality, amazing aesthetics and dramatic size are combined on this totally impressive Swiss smoky quartz specimen!
Three colorless quartz crystals around 7 cm in length stick out of this quartz specimen like spikes at the back of an iguana. At the backside there is one crystal missing, the rest is all complete with only very minor edgewear. The quartz is glassy and lustrous, holding some second generation quartz and small white feldspar at the backside which is well visible through the transparent quartz crystals. An aesthetic and very much appealing piece of Rauris quartz!
An aggregate of sharp, blocky prisms of greenish black augite on a schist matrix with some white albite that provides a stark contrast. The augite crystals shows very good luster on all sides. The 3-dimensional structure is contacted at the periphery and shows some damaged crystals there but all in all the condition is just fine and little issues are very much acceptable on a rare species like this! Have a look on our video to get a better impression of the overall aesthetics of this piece!
The color of this smoky quartz is a charming warm brown of just the right intensity to not disturb the view through the glassy crystal body. The main crystal is a doubly terminated prism with sharp, pointed terminations. It is accompanied by several side-crystals and lies on a small piece of matrix that is completely crystallized on the backside. Being free of any damage, this is a marvelous piece of Swiss smoky quartz!
A glassy foater specimen of etched fluorite from Italy. The surface is frosted but smooth enough to let you see inside the clear crystal. It is free of any damage and shows a greenish tinge. Very appealing in person!
