As you can instantly see on this picture, this striking kunzite crystal is a perfect floater of spectacular brilliance. Like an express train this crystal sweeps into your awareness, shining with bright pink color and unblemished lustrous surface. The Urucum mine is for sure the worlds most important location for high class kunzite. Regarding this very specimen, one exactly knows why. The surface is of marvelous structure all around and still permits a clear view inside the perfectly limpid crystal. One termination peaks in two prominent wing-like extensions, very fragile but undamaged. In short: I have never seen a specimen like this before! A pristine and extremely rare blue color - no, not turquoise but a straight and honest blue - packed in an utterly gemmy crystal, sitting on a beautiful white calcite matrix. This sublime euclase specimen is absolutely unique. The crystal itself is around 4 cm long with a nice striated surface and a perfect pointed termination. We got this piece out of the John Sigerman collection and are happy to present it to you. A high-end piece of purely distilled beauty!

This impressive piece of tridymite crystobalite opal is surely one of the best specimen to be found at the 2014 find in Namibia. While most of this mineral is for cutting only, this pocket provided the market with a limited amount of crystallized botryoidal opal. You will find a report about this find in the Extralapis Namibia, where this very specimen is pictured at page 43. Beautiful and elegant, with a wonderful turquoise color and perfect condition, this opal is simply outstanding.

The deep mysterious red color of this single octahedral fluorite combined with its brilliant quality is simply breathtaking. The crystal is perfect on all sides, with a beautifully structured surface and a sharp termination. The bottom is contacted but without damage. Finding a pearl like this on the market is a very rare occasion as this excellent red color was found nowhere in Switzerland except for the permafrost of the northern face at the famous Frunthorn. Hardly ever have I seen a Gwindel of this unbelievable quality! Perfectly sharp, fantastically lustrous and with a warm red-brown coloring you would not believe!The main crystal sits on a perfectly sized, sparkling white matrix accompanied by other flawless smoky quartz crystals. Proportion and aesthetics of this piece are truly outstanding and qualify this specimen for any showcase of high quality minerals.The Gwindel was found in 2013. It is virtually perfect with just some tiny contacts that are not at all visible from the main view. It is clear even with lower light, amazingly lustrous and all in all just breathtaking!

Wow, this is definitely one of the best dioptase specimen I have seen in my life!Laying hands on this fantastic piece was a true cast of fortune for me. This gwindel is absolutely impressive in size and water clear! The luster is brilliant and makes for a sparkling, highly detailed surface. The piece is crystallized even at the bottom with some associated white calcite. At the backside there is a cluster of quartz side-crystals.In fact, both front and backside are fascinating and totally worth it, but I chose this side as the front because of the even better luster and the fact that this way you can see the gwindel going down the whole 16 centimeters. Absolutely stunning!This marvelous and flawless piece has been found at the construction of the 57 km (35.4 miles) St. Gotthard basis tunnel which has been opened just this year. Completely colorless gwindel specimen like this one are exceedingly rare in Switzerland. Pieces of such impressive size and quality are almost impossibly to lay hands on!

This specimen was found around 25 years ago and was in the collection of Jack Halpern for long years. Two impressive and gemmy emerald crystals of striking color are embedded on a black and white calcite-matrix like dragons eggs in their nest. The crystals impress with brilliant deep green color and mirroring luster. I totally love the overall aesthetics of this piece as the distinct contrast emphasizes the emerald crystals in a unique way.
