This fine gold specimen is out of a completely new find from 2015 that has rapidly made a name for itself as a source for world class gold specimens. Best color, filigree growth and a vibrant sheen are trademark for this locale and are main feature of this very specimen. Large and massy yet lovely detailed and organic. This gold shows a single hoppered grown section that is over 4 cm long before it grows blossoms like a bridal bouquet. Its hard to decide on how to put this piece as there is no obvious top or bottom. Flawless all around and of amazing quality this is a truly outstanding gold specimen! Price on request

Have a closer look on this absolutely unique light blue fluorite from Dal’negorsk! This single crystal is clear like a window and lustrous on all sides. I have honestly not seen a comparable piece anywhere on the market. It shows only minimal edgewear but is largely in best condition. At the bottom you will find some beautiful inclusions while the crystal itself is complete even there. Inside the fluorite there is a faint phantom, even improving the striking visual effect of this piece. It is something really special, of highest quality and completely unusual in person!

BR10 - Rubellite on Quartz - Sold
Genepapo Mine, Itinga, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Size: 16 x 11.5 x 8 cm

With a size of staggering 16 cm this is a fantastic rubellite from a new find at the Genepapo Mine. The aesthetics of the massy, intensively candy-red rubellite aggregate on quartz is straight textbook. The quartz is translucent and has a yellow tinge when backlit. The rubellite itself is translucent through and through with a color that changes from a purplish red at the bottom to a totally striking, sweet candy red at the terminations. Around those terminations the crystal has some gap fills but aside of that there is just nothing you would have to worry about. The bottom is fully rehealed and even the quartz is complete. If you look closer to the specimens bottom you find purple lepidolite serving as a base for the whole composition. This specimen is definitely an eye-catcher for any showcase!

FA340 - Liddicoatite - Sold
Estatoby, Sahatana Valley, Antananarivo Prov., Madagascar
Size: 26 x 9.4 x 9.5 cm

YES, it is 26cm tall! When I saw this crystal the first time I could not believe that a crystal in combination with that size and quality even exists. In fact, this is a major piece of high importance for a liddicoatite and a perfect fit for a museum, or all private collectors interested in big gem crystals. I have seen a lot of pieces coming to the market in the last years, mainly much smaller and by far not in that league! While most of the crystals are completely dark, this one is multicolored, showing green, yellow, orange and red in the upper half! You need light from the back to make the colors visible, but it is a small miracle to see it at all, as even thinner crystals do not show them normally. It has good luster and a beautiful termination, without any damage. The condition over all is excellent, while just some minor edgewear at the side is present, which is fully acceptable. It is pictured in the mineral newspaper by Tomasz Praszkier by an article from him and PhD Federico Pezzotta in 2013, #6. The whole find is described more closely there, while this was by far the best piece of the pocket. It comes with a base, which includes the lightning system to show the colors! You can switch the light on by a small remote, or just connect it with a small wire to your regular lightning system. Really spectacular and for sure one of the very finest pieces in existence! price on request

FA338 - Hematite - Sold
Cavradi, Val Curnera, Tujetsch, Graubünden, Switzerland
Size: 19.7 x 12.5 x 6.7 cm

It is a big adventure to get a hematite of this calibre from the famous cavradi area in Switzerland! Most of the specimens found there are heavily damaged due blasting at mining! This piece has a lot of well crystalized hematites up to 3.1 cm in size! Some small rutiles are attached on the hematite, what is very typically for this locality. It is extremely rare to see the hematite in combination with quartz, what is highly appreciated from all collectors. Even rarer is the combination with smoky quartz, while I have seen almost no specimens in combination with smoky! This piece is the very best specimen out of small pocked found by Pius Wasmer at around 2005! It was displayed in the local Museum in Sedrun for 3 years, while I could accquire this specimen after he got it back from there. The aesthetics of the piece is beautiful and hard to beat. It combines all what you can get from this locale! To have the combination of matrix, smoky quartz, rutile and hematite is simply incredible! This is one of the best hematites I am aware of and definitely a perfect fit for every world class collection or museum! price on request

SO105 - Rhodochrosite - Sold
N`Chwaning Mines, Kuruman, Kalahari manganese field, Northern Cape Province, South Africa
Size: 4.8 x 3.5 x 3.3 cm

We honestly love rhodochrosite from N'Chwaning - the whole package of color, shape and luster - but this very specimen renders us absolutely speechless! Unsurpassable sparkling luster envelops the strong fire-red color, ready to explode in direct illumination. Sitting on a black manganese matrix this rhodochrosite crown leaves nothing to be desired. Some minor contacts are insignificant and instantly washed away by the sheer beauty of this dramatic, mesmerizing specimen. Go on, have a look on the video! You will be as amazed as we are...

RK451 - Tourmaline - Sold
Batalha mine, São José da Batalha, Borborema mineral province, Paraíba, Brazil
Size: 10 x 8.2 x 4.5 cm

Right to the point: The turquoise-blue copper-rich Elbaite from Paraíba is the most desired tourmaline variety in the world! And this incredibly aesthetic specimen is the largest and best of the kind. The tourmaline is staggering 8 cm long and shows best color. The surface is lustrous and completely without damage. The crystal is translucent, not clear, but has a compelling sparkle to it. A small minus is the termination which is not at all contacted or damaged but also not fully developed and sharp. Anyway, the overall aesthetics more than makes up for that: The tourmaline is perched on a white quartz-matrix (repaired at that point, but the crystal is unrepaired) that even holds some cranberry red lepidolite for more color and contrast. Absolutely amazing in composition, quality and unique color!

DK14 - Silver - Sold
Kongsberg Silver Mining District, Kongsberg, Buskerud, Norway
Size: 6 x 3.5 x 2.7 cm

Unlike the "usual" Kongsberg specimens with wires and ropes of silver, this very specimen is a unusual stack of silver crystals which is MUCH more uncommon. The piece reveals its full potential only in person or to a certain degree on our video, where you very well can see the 3-dimensional array of tetrahedral crystals. An old European classic of great silver color, perfect all around and completely unique!

BT1 - Topaz - Sold

Wow, what a bomb! This impressive topaz crystal is just huge and mighty! Striking ice blue color gleams inside the characteristic topaz-shape and is enclosed by sparklingly lustrous faces. The crystals body is clouded at the center but nicely transparent at the edges. Impressive quality for a piece of this large size, which is just simply unique. The bottom is framed by some mica, probably lepidolite which nicely completes the picture. At the back side one restoration is present. An overall breath-taking specimen of elegance and splendour!

WF8 - Quartz - Sold
Piz Regina, Val Lumnezia, Surselva, Graubünden, Switzerland
Size: 23 x 21 x 15 cm

The size of this incredible quartz specimen is just staggering but once you got over that you will continue to be impressed by the incredibly high quality. The quartz is glassy, highly lustrous all around and well terminated. The larger main crystal is 6 cm broad and actually consists of two intergrown crystals. It has a sharp chisel termination and is, like all the other crystals on this cluster, in perfect condition. At the insides of several crystals you will find beautiful chloritized phantoms which add a very special as well as characteristic Alpine look to this specimen. The backside is contacted but mostly re-crystallized, the front is completely flawless. A real masterpiece from Piz Regina near the Lumnezia Valley in the Swiss canton of Graubünden.

FA367 - Grossular - Sold

This is a highly exquisite piece mined at the famous Jeffrey Quarry! The main crystals are pretty good isolated, up to 2cm tall and well balanced attached to the matrix. The beautiful intense cocngac color of the garnets is showing a strong contrast to the much darker matrix. The crystals are very gemmy and lustrous, like small jewels and looking simply gorgeous! Except some small contacts, the specimen is in a great condition. Really stunning in person and a perfect fit for the advanced collector! Check out the video, this speaks for itself!

RK29 - Dioptase - Sold
Tsumeb Mine, Otjikoto Region, Tsumeb, Namibia
Size: 9.1 x 4 x 3.9 cm

WOW, this is an incredible specimen from the Tsumeb mine, which is the classic locality for dioptase, still setting the standard for this mineral in my opinion. Many crystals of high brilliance are well isolated situated on the white matrix of dolomite and calcite, showing a great contrast. The main crystal in the middle is 1.6 cm long and 1 cm wide. All crystals are highly lustrous, gemmy and of the best quality you can look for! Just one of the side crystals has a very small edgewear, while all the others are completely pristine. Really stunning in person!! price on request
