While it is basically colorless there are dark purple patches and structures near the surface that make for a very unique look! This beautiful crystal is set on a matrix of white microcline, green fluorites and some colorless beryl micro-crystals.
This Goboboseb amethyst specimen has a striking presence due to its 15.7 cm of brilliant quality quartz! It has two completely perfect and sharp crystals on a quartz and calcite covered rock matrix. A complex group of tourmaline crystals of different character, arranged on an amorphous tourmaline-matrix. The main crystal at the top is for sure the most striking one as it shows absolutely brilliant gemmy quality, a perfect pointed termination and nice open colors that range from pink to a greenish yellow tip. The other crystals have a flat termination but are also highly lustrous, undamaged and colorful. Some are translucent, some have a gemmy, intensively pink core. The overall aesthetics is somewhat chaotic but rich with very nice tourmalines of high quality! There are several very well done repairs but which aren't visible at all.
This attractive amethyst from Guerrero is basically a dominant main crystals on a nice thin piece of matrix with a smaller side crystal. The amethyst has intensive purple color at the core which very much rewards some backlight! Some zones, especially towards the pointed termination, are colorless or milky white but which actually looks really beautiful in combination with the dark and vibrant purple. The condition is very good. There is a contact at the back but the front side is all lustrous, well developed and without damage. The backside also has some attachment which appears to be a brown amorphous quartz in a white crust. Overall an attractive piece with amazing color!
