It's actually four tourmaline crystals, glassy and pleasantly green, that are embedded in this beautiful albite matrix. The longest crystal is 5.5 cm long and 0.5 cm thick. Its color changes from a luscious green to turquoise at the tip. The main crystal is free of any damage and is not repaired, which is a rare thing at fragile pieces like this one. I love the aesthetics of this specimen as there are so few good matrix-pieces available on the market.

Hardly ever have we seen a comparable kunzite specimen from Afghanistan. This is a bicolor sceletal crystal of amazing luster that is perfectly gemmy to the core. The typical pink color changes to a greenish-yellow part which provides a totally unique appearance to this breathtaking spodumen specimen. As a perfect floater it is completely flawless all around. The shape is distinctly 3-dimensional and very much worth a look on our video.

This single octahedral fluorite sits heavily on the mica matrix that supports it. With its size of striking 2.9 cm on edge this fluorite is a remarkable piece of great aesthetics. The octahedraon is perfectly shaped all around which is nicely visible even from the backside. The elegant green color of the fluorite stands in contrast to the greyish-white matrix and a partial coating of brown iron oxide. A very decent and harmonious piece.

This is an old piece from 1976 that combines wonderful aesthetics - almost like a moss covered age-old tortoise - with brilliant crystal quality. The dioptas crystals are strikingly lustrous and of bright shining green color. Sitting atop a snow-white calcite matrix of matching luster, this adds up to a picturesque landscape. Dioptase from Tsumeb is a very classic and most desirable mineral species, especially when it comes to a piece of this high quality and beauty.

The village of Calumet on the upper peninsula of Michigan is a historic mining site mainly for copper, but is also known for silver and other minerals. This old piece from 1963 is a massy yet graceful example for the impressive specimens coming from Calumet. Sharp silver crystals are embedded in a landscape of rugged, massive silver. An imposing piece of size and very fine silver color that almost physically emanates its unique historic charm!

This cover piece, pictured on the "Mineralienwelt" magazine, issue 5/2015, is an absolutely iconic specimen and one of the very best ones from the famous find in Ahmad Abad. Tabular wulfenite crystals are 3-dimensionally arranged on a striking matrix that is covered in snow-white calcite. The wulfenite is also studded with calcite and some tiny spots of vanadinite. The largest crystals are around 3 cm in size and in almost flawless condition, leaving some minor wear asid. The combination of different minerals in varying crystal size is absolutely stunning, exceptionally beautiful and elegant. It is a pity that the Ahmad Abad Mine has been closed due to difficulties in the mining process. It definitely would have been great to see more of those world class wulfenite specimens coming!

A beautiful combination of green actinolithe around and within glassy, transparent quartz. A long prismatic quartz crystal straightly protrudes from a piece of matrix that is fully covered in fine needles in very good condition. We keep this very specimen in a special box to prevent those needles from crumbling, when being touched. Its a small wonder that a piece like this could survive the mining process and the travelling from Pakistan to Europe but here it is and waiting for you. The aesthetics is conspicuously pretty with one dominant main crystal and two smaller side crystals at both sides. All quartz crystals are richly streaked with actinolithe which gives this piece an overall green coloring. Striking and of best quality, this rare piece is an unusually well preserved specimen of appealing charm.

A fantastic gold specimen of classy aesthetics from the famous Eagle`s Nest Mine in California. It shows just the right proportion of white quartz matrix and shiny crystallized gold. This piece is perfect all around with freely protruding branching gold. The matrix is interveined with gold which is nicely visible at its bottom and sides. A brilliant piece of considerable size and decent elegance.

The lovely 3-dimensional aesthetics of a dancing flame, frozen in gold. Typical for the Eagle's Nest Mine this piece shows very strong yellow-golden color and good luster. It is highly detailed with small crystals and slender branching. For a better look on the very lively and dynamic shape, watch our video!

This fluorite from Nagar impresses not only with its remarkable size but mainly for the intense pink color, the fascinating clarity and the lovely crystallization on all sides. Its only the bottom and some spots at the back that have contacts, the rest is beautifully crystallized and shows excellent surface structure. A massy but charming piece, radiating a saturated pink color even in low light. Rarely have I seen a fluorite from Nagar this colorful as they are usually much paler. An imposing piece of great quality in a size that fits for most collectors.

A very large and massy piece that is still incredibly full of fragile little details, highest quality and simple beauty. The whole fluorite is of pink color but when you turn it around in your hands - or of course also when watching our video - you can see luscious purple layers spreading their color through the crystal. This floater-piece is well crystallized on the front, and etched on the backside with an almost amorphous shape, while at the front the crystals are rounded and corroded but still discernible. An outstanding piece that sets the benchmark for any other fluorite from Zogno!

The famous Graukogel-find by Heinz Kirchtag and Andreas Steiner was indisputably one of the finest titanite finds on the Alps. The specimen we have got here is a 3-dimensional example for the high quality of that locale. The twin-crystal in very good condition and mostly clear with some nice chlorite at the surface. With a dominant 3.3 cm in size this is an excellent Alpine titanite!
