This formidable pericline specimen shows beautiful textbook aesthetics which is extremely unusual for the mineral. One sharp and lustrous major pericline - 3.5 cm long and 2.8 cm broad - is surrounded by a cluster of small side-crystals. On the pericline there is a nice dusting of chlorite which helps the eye to perseive the three-dimensional shape of the otherwise snow-white specimen. The whole specimen is a floater with a completely crystallized underside where even some titanites are present. It's an absolutely stunning and beautiful specimen of finest Alpine pericline!
