VG875 - Quartz with Pericline - 1100€
Grieswies, Rauris, Pinzgau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 8 x 7.5 x 5.1 cm

A 6.1 cm main quartz crystal is aesthetically set on a pristine white pericline matrix. I love how well balanced and sincerely beautiful this specimen is. The main crystal has absolutely best quality, it is flawless and set on this amazing matrix. What appears a bit irregular towards the termination is only some attached microcrystalline feldspar which is visible through the completely glassy crystal. No damage here, also on the side-crystal!

DX227 - Titanite - 290€
Floitengrund, Zillertaler Alpen, North Tyrol, Austria
Size: 1.3 x 1.2 x 0.9 cm

What a nice and well shaped crystal! This single titanite resembles a cut gemstone with all the right angles, sharp edges and lustrous faces. Absolutely amazing and in very best condition. At the back you have some residual feldspar matrix and there is one interlocked titanite side-crystal. Apart from that it's just this stunning single titanite. Some backlight reveals zones of green and brown, easily lit through the translucent crystal.

DP639 - Smoky Quartz - 950€
Wiesbachrinne, Habachtal, Pinzgau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 11.5 x 4.2 x 3.1 cm

This one is really excellent for its stunning quality and the dark brown color that’s exceedingly hard to find in the Austrian Alps. This crystal is doubly terminated, virtually perfect and has a remarkable size. The tip is somewhat rough but which is contact induced and only 1 mm is an actual chip. The rest is perfect and of stunning quality.

WM812 - Hematite - 1700€
Cavradi, Val Curnera, Tujetsch, Graubünden, Switzerland
Size: 4.7 x 2.3 x 3.8 cm

This whole specimen is much about crystal quality and well balanced aesthetics. There are two quartz crystals present, both of which have the most brilliant quality you could possibly wish for. 100 % transparent, sharp, lustrous and flawless. The main quartz on the right has 2.8 cm in length. The left side is dominated by a metallically lustrous cluster of tabular heamtite, also in flawless condition.
This balance of dark hematite and bright shiny quartz makes this piece unique and utterly appealing! Even the matrix is nicely crystallized with adularia micro-crystals. Absolutely top notch!

DZ023 - Fluorite - 4300€
Zinggenstock, Grimsel area, Hasli valley, Berner Oberland, Switzerland
Size: 9 x 6.5 x 4 cm
Watch Video

Pink fluorite from the Zinggenstock counts among the Alps most coveted species. Here we have an extremely well crystallized and 100% flawless cluster of intensive color on a grey granite matrix. The diameter of that cluster is 3.9 cm at its longest extension. The largest individual crystal has 2.3 cm on edge. If you look closely on the picture or even better in the video, you can see some purple tips which makes this fluorite even more visually stunning.

PN473 - Quartz var. Citrine - 300€
Goldzechkees, Rauris, Zell am See, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 6.9 x 5.3 x 3 cm
Watch Video

It's an Alpine rarity that is very difficult to obtain: A citrine crystal, found at the Goldzechkees at the rear end of the Rauris valley. The crystal quality is particularly nice towards the sharp termination, where the quartz is transparent and shows that distinctive light yellow color that makes this material so very coveted! The surface, too, is of best quality. It has a bright luster and lovely structure. At the bottom it is mostly re-healed but who looks on the bottom anyway when seeing such a remarkable specimen of Alpine citrine!

DL767 - Quartz - 800€
Krumltal, Rauris, Pinzgau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 14.6 x 5.9 x 6 cm

This quartz impresses with its excellent quality and elegant shape! It consists of two parallel fused crystals that are both highly lustrous and transparent. The entire piece is in excellent condition. Even the underside is completely crystallized and free of damage. On the back, there are small adular crystals as well as some limonite; otherwise, the piece is made of pure, brilliant quartz.

GE430 - Adularia on Pericline - 435€
Speibingklamm, Hollersbachtal, Pinzgau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 8.3 x 6 x 5.2 cm

Blocky snow white periclines, covered in adularia, sprinkled with fine chlorite. This whole piece is amazingly beautiful in an immaculate way. I can't see a damage anywhere, even the bottom is fully crystallized. The three-dimensional composition reminds of a polar landscape of snow and ice.

UQ372 - Quartz Sceptre - 880€
Mitteldorfer Graben, Virgen Valley, East Tyrol, Austria
Size: 7.7 x 3.4 x 2.1 cm
Watch Video

The color zoning on this wonderful sceptre is very nice. While the main part of the crystal has a dark, greenish color due to byssolite inclusions, the scepter head is transparent and even shows a delicate amethyst-like violet. The quality is generally very good with brilliant luster on the front and hardly any damage. A single small chip is visible halfway up, otherwise everything is flawless.

GT512 - Apatite - Sold
Mörchnerkar, Zemmgrund, Zillertal, Tyrol, Austria
Size: 5.8 x 5.3 x 3.4 cm
Watch Video

This exceptionally fine apatite immediately caught my eye with its amazing flower-like aesthetics! The apatites are pristinely white, highly lustrous and with that characteristic “waxy” quality. Turning the piece around, you will find the main aggregat to be completely flawless. The crystals are well defined, shiny and remarkably beautiful. One side-crystal is repaired but, as mentioned, the whole "blossom" is perfect.

YB013 - Quartz - 1250€
Grieswies, Rauris, Pinzgau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 17 x 4 x 3.8 cm
Watch Video

The elegant shape, the clarity and luster as well as the superb condition of this single crystal quartz are all in fact stunning! A miracle of nature, shiny and graceful! The Tessin Quartz habit is particularly well defined and the typical striations are prominent on the highly lustrous surface. You would need to look really closely to find some abrasions, to the most part this dramatic quartz is just perfect. An outstanding exemplar of Alpine quarz!

NF896 - Hessonite - 1700€
Schwarze Wand, Hollersbachtal, Pinzgau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 13.8 x 8.9 x 4 cm
Watch Video

Individual hessonite crystals on this rich specimen reach up to 8 mm, averaging around 4 mm. The hessonites are highly lustrous, sharply defined, and of an intense dark red color. Between those sharp crystals and areas of amorphous hessonite, silvery, iridescent clinochlorite comes to light. A beautiful landscape from this famous locale.
