A complex cluster of interlocked red spessartine crystals is set atop a pristine white piece of feldspar matrix. The garnets are particularly well developed with nice luster and surface structure. At direct light they reveal their cherry red color that reflects from the crystals gemmy bodies. Especially near the surface this color is strong and enchanting. The stark contrast to the all around crystallized feldspar matrix makes this piece even more attractive. Very unique and beautiful!
Really beautiful in person and incredibly vibrant, this is an outstanding “faden”-quartz specimen with chlorite from North Waziristan.
When you hold this specimen in your hands it catches and reflects the light from all directions.
Best sparkling luster and brilliant clarity are combined with a wonderful aesthetics!
The quartz crystals are towering on a small piece of grey rock matrix and there is some greenish chlorite to add some color.
With no damage or even abrasions at all, this is a fantastic piece indeed!
This stunning specimen features a single morganite crystal with a size of 6.5 x 2.2 cm. It is set on a piece of feldspar and schorl matrix, where some of the schorl are intergrown with the morganite. Most attractive about this specimen is the stunning quality of the morganite itself. It is gemmy, highly lustrous and has a distinctive pink color! The hexagonal shape is almost complete and has beautiful modifications. Only at the underside you will see some intergrowth and a small chip. The rest is perfect. It is a remarkable specimen with a rough and natural look but very good quality!
What a great hematite! This specimen comes from a new find which was made in spring 2013. It has great aesthetics and the two hematites that have grown together make the whole specimen very impressive. The matrix consists of crystallized albite with a small titanite attached on it. The condition over all is very good.
The two fat crystals, grown together on this matrix, look very impressive! The crystals are modified by stepped growth, what makes a good contrast to the very nice quartz!
This is an exceptional wulfenite from the classic austrian locale. The crystals have a bright orange color with sharp edges and a very good luster. To find a good wulfenite has become very hard nowadays, while this is an exceptional piece for the advanced collector. No damage is present!
What a lovely crystal in great condition and high quality! It is highly lustrous, well terminated and with a great color zonation!
Very rare and beautiful alike, this specimen of variscite with turquoise knows how to appeal. The bracing green color of the variscite contrasts strongly with the varying colors of the matrix it rests in. Its very nice to see the growth pattern of the mineral at this specimen in many details. Shiny colors and a sparkling luster bestow additional value to this piece.
Lovely and virtually perfect, this floater is a marvelous composition of purple apatite with accompanying calcite, which adds much to the beauty of this piece. The largest crystal is 1.7 cm long and of fine quality. A distinctly 3-dimensional thumbnail for any collector of fine minerals.
With a length of 7.5 mm this anatase crystal is virtually a giant, compared to other Austrian anatase. Sitting on a sparkling matrix of feldspar and quartz it is truly impressive and exceptionally rare. Admittedly there is a very small abrasion at the crystal but considering size and rarity I find this very much acceptable. An outstanding piece for any collection of Alpine treasures!
This is one doubly-terminated aquamarine with smaller schorl and feldspar sitting on all faces. The crystal nicely shows its primatic shape and the flat terminations. The color ranges from almost colorless terminations to a deep water-blue in the center. This aquamarine is not fully clear but is remarkably lively due to all the pretty details all around. Our video offers a better view to those details and the overall beauty of this specimen!
Turning this piece around in my hands I can see a distincly 3-dimensional fluorite thats full of wonderful details, nice colors and heavily etched aesthetics. Despite all those fragile, thin structures there is no damage to be found here. A remarkable aspect about this specimen is the color variation, that goes from greenish yellow to pink and purple at the core. A marvelous composition overall and an appelaing sight.
