An excellent combination specimen that features two sharp and gemmy topaz crystals with nice champagne color. The topazes are set on a cluster of transparent quartz, sparkling white albite and some brownish mica. Some peripheral microcrystals of schorl and garnet are present as well. The main topaz at the top is 2.7 cm long and completely transparent without anything to disturb the view. It is very well cut with a bevelled, highly lustrous termination. The second topaz shows equal quality at a length of 1.9 cm. An overall fascinating piece in appealing cabinet size!

A beautiful composition of absolutely brilliant fluorite octahedrons and white short prismatic quartz. The fluorites are situated at the upper ridge which lets them really shine with intensive green color even at roomlight illumination. The condition is outstanding all around!

This amazing quartz has brilliant quality and very unique and elegant aesthetics! The main crystal is all glassy and super-lustrous with some includions but which doesn't take anything from its beauty. It is accompanied by a smaller side-crystals, a doubly terminated quartz at the base. That side-crystal is repaired once but which is hardly visible at all. There is some residual rock matrix around the base, the rest is all nicely crystallized quartz in best condition.

A single doubly terminated quartz lies atop a lovely piece of matrix: silvery mica-schist with a crust of muscovite and pericline atop. The quartz is 5.9 cm long, totally glassy and lustrous and in excellent condition. A very well defined specimen from this uncommon locale near Schwarzenstein mountain.

Now this is really an adorable combination of hematite with feldspar on quartz!
As you can see in the picture the quartz is completely transparent, lustrous and sharp. It is well shaped all around with only a contact at the backside but no damage! Grown on and even inside this fine quartz are metallic black tabular hematites up to 1.8 cm in diameter that are lined up like pearls on a string with the largest crystal sitting at the very top! If you are looking for exceptional pieces of stunning aesthetics then this specimen might be just perfect for you!

The main amethyst sceptre has a total length of 3.5 cm and shows very nice transparent quality. The surface is lustrous, slightly frosted, and shows a subtle structure. Quite characteristic for the locale the purple color is limited to the sceptres head where it is especially strong towards the sharp pointed termination. The main crystal is embedded in nice sheets of muscovite and accompanied by quartz side-crystals. This group again is surrounded by the matrix which is a mix of quartz and feldspar with veins of mica.
The classic aesthetics of this specimen accounts for its age. It has been found by Franz Tuma (Oberwart, Burgenland) in Summer 1994 which is documented by a sign at the specimens bottom.

It's a fantastic combination of spessartine on quartz that gets more beautiful the more you look at it! While this type of crystal is well known from the locale this is certainly an exceptional piece of highest quality and perfection. The garnet is completely gemmy and with a vibrant cherry-red color! The beautiful surface structure is very well developed all around and shows no damage at all! What makes this specimen unique however is the combination with highly lustrous and undamaged quartz. We haven’t seen anything like that in such high quality and perfection!

Highest crystal quality, striking aesthetics and perfect condition all come together on this breathtaking smoky quartz! The specimen is a perfect floater, completely crystallized at the bottom. Main crystal and side crystal are both sharp and flawless. With a loupe you can see that the tips are slightly rough but not damaged.
Dark brown color, wonderful luster and great clarity with only some internal cracks towards the termination but nothing that reaches the surface. The aesthetics is really just ideal with a dominant main crystal and a smaller supporting side crystal.

The main hematite on this matrix specimen sits attractively and dominantly in the very center and is accompanied by crystal clear quartz which is partly intergrown with smaller hematite plates. Some of those hematite plates are broken, but which is hardly noticeable.
The main crystal on the other side is in fantastic condition. With a size of 3.4 cm, it is really remarkable. It is sharp-edged, highly lustrous and richly studded with fiery red rutile crystals. A highly aesthetic piece from the famous Cavradi gorge.

A new find near the city of Hyderabad has recently produced a number of amazing phantom quartz specimens. This one is certainly one of the better ones in its size range as it unites best crystal quality with striking phantoms and - which is extremely scarce from that locale - virtually flawless condition! By far the most specimens from Hyderabad have medium to heavy damages but this specimen is the very welcome exception. Only one small side crystal shows abrasions, the rest is sharp and perfect. Even the bottom is completely crystallized and covered in a thin layer of hematite. The quartz is highly transparent and grants a wonderful look onto the well defined hematite phantoms that every single crystal displays. Absolutely stunning and exceptional for this new find!

This is a superb Alpine highlight. The breathtakingly beautiful specimen shows vibrant landscape of brilliant quartz on a rock matrix. The two main crystals are accompanied by a large number of smaller quartz crystals, as well as some isolated epidotes. A transverse double-ended quartz directly beneath the larger of the main crystals is intensely red in color due to iron oxide inclusions, which adds color to this alpine stage. The quality of the quartz crystals is really first-class and they are in the best condition. The red double-ended has small damage, everything else here is perfect. You can see this brilliant quality very well on our video!
