This is an attractive combination of sharp spessartine crystals on a feldspar matrix, associated with white quartz. The single feldspar crystal is well defined and makes for a marvelous background. The garnets are sharp, flawless and of deep cherry red color which contrasts with the white feldspar. The largest one has a diameter of 1.7 cm and is completely perfect! A very attractive specimen of nice quality and appearance!
This heart-shaped quartz specimen is a large and massive japan-law twin crystal of brilliant quality! The quartz is transparent and sharp and has a superbly lustrous front! There are some abrasions present but the overall condition is fine. The impressive size and formidable quality of this specimen make for a beautiful sight in your showcase!
An excellent sculpture-like specimen of especially 3-dimensional character, great quality and highly appealing composition. The hübnerite is massy but yet lovely structured with many smaller crystals protruding from a thick hübnerite trunk. The fine detail and the gemmy red color are adding up to a sparkling piece of pure aesthetics. Apart from some contacted zones there is no damage visible. At the base of this specimen you see a single larger quartz of good luster and milky interior. Inside that quartz thin hübnerite needles of gemmy red quality are nicely visible. All around you find accompanying glassy quartz that largely covers the lower two thirds of this piece. Dark red hübnerite majestically ascends from this lovely white foundation and offers a truly spectacular view!
This well developed copper specimen is from a small find that features not only appealing shapes of arborescent copper but also a rare micro-coating of gold which gives it a nice brassy sheen. The specimen appears very organic, grown like a coral reef, with branchings on all sides and no contacts. Very attractive and extremely hard to find for this rare and fascinating gold coating! Ex. Lovely aesthetics meets best crystal quality! The branching shape of this pure brucite specimen reminds me of a gnarly old tree. The piece is perfectly crystallized all around with bright yellow, gemmy and lustrous brucite!
Very nicely crystallized rose quartz of striking pink color and sculpturesque composition! It's a rather chaotic assembly but with aesthetic overall shape that is 3-dimensional and rich in details. The largest single crystal on this piece is a doubly terminated 2.7 cm crystal at the top. Associated to the pink quartz are veins of white quartz which adds some contrast to the otherwise pure rose quartz specimen. The whole piece is in best condition on all sides.
A 3-dimensional group of octahedral magnetite crystals has been pseudomorph transformed into metallic grey hematite at the cinder pits near the Payún Matru volcano. This structure is a distinctly 3-dimensional floater specimen that shows characteristic hoppered growth and towering octahedrons. The piece is all undamaged and very much appealing in person!
A massive hematite specimen from the historic locale at Elba Island. It shows characteristic solid hematite blades with metallic black luster. There are several contacted or damaged zones around the piece but there is still a rich multitude of sharp and well defined hematite crystals present!
A cluster of brilliant and sharp spessartine crystals are set on a contrasting white quarz and feldspar matrix. The garnets show deep cherry-red color that radiates from their cores if you add some downlight. All crystals are in best condition and absolutely flashy!
This is an especially fine and colorful liddicoatite crystal that has a great lot of beautiful details to offer. Most certainly the dramatic color-play of different green shades and saturated strawberry red will enchant you in combination with the very lively aesthetics of tourmaline and contrasting white, slightly blueish albite. Even the bottom is terminated leaving nothing to be desired. The whole crystal is translucent and very colorful with no visible damage. One small part - a side crystal covered in matrix at the left - is repaired but which is not visible from the front.
A unique liddicoatite specimen of just perfect size and aesthetics!
Doubly terminated, strawberry colored and with a very nice surface structure! This tourmaline from the Ampanivana pegmatite is overall in near-perfect condition with modified terminations on bottom and top. The crystal needs direct backlight to reveal its colors but those are really worth it as the predominant strawberry red is encased by a fresh apple green which is totally beautiful!
This brilliant thumbnail specimen features a number of sharp, lustrous and well developed doubly terminated anatase crystals on a white feldspar matrix. The largest anatase has a bit over 1 cm and is accompanied by a small quartz which adds the little extra to the already stunning composition!
