Not just a single crystal as you can find so many on the market, this striking tourmaline is accompanied by some matrix at the bottom which provides it with a unique character. The tourmaline is not broken at the bottom but shows a layer of matrix. An outstanding piece indeed. The color is a satiated pink and red that is just brilliant at ambient light. Aside some tiny edgewear this tourmaline is perfect and brilliantly aesthetic!

A group of cherry-red garnet crystals are aesthetically embedded in silvery schist to compose this very appealing specimen. The whole piece appears very natural with some etching on the garnet but no damage. The up to 2.8 cm crystals are translucent and of intensive color provided the right, strong illumination. An overall attractive specimen where color, composition and crystal size fit perfectly!

This is an absorbing sample of the famous hexagonal copper pseudomorphs after aragonite from the Corocoro District. Unlike many other specimens this one is not just a loose single crystal but has additional copper environing it like a piece of supporting matrix. The whole piece is of dark brown copper-color, nicely crystallized and free of damage. A great example for what wondrous things nature can accomplish!

Shaped like a crown of white quartz jeweled with brilliant green augelite this is an excellent piece that is beautiful on front and backside alike - if the word "backside" is even a valid term here. This specimen is in a very good condition with just some minor edge wear here and there. The sparkling white matrix is perfectly suited for highlighting the intensely green augelite crystals. A wonderful sight in person!

XCT2 - Cerussite - Sold
Tsumeb Mine, Otjikoto Region, Tsumeb, Namibia
Size: 7 x 5 x 3.1 cm

The characteristic "snowflake" pattern is well visible on this compact cerussite cluster. The piece is pure cerussite with no considerable matrix or association. The crystal itself seems clear at the inside but the surface is intensively structured and to the most parts obstructs the insight. Anyway, this is a nice example for Tsumeb cerussite without any damage to speak of.

AB25 - Epidote with Calcite - Sold
Knappenwand, Untersulzbachtal, Pinzgau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 4.9 x 2.9 x 2.3 cm

Mining for epidote specimens can get very harsh at times, with blasting and heavy equipment. Knowing this it seems like a small wonder that this fragile piece, a delicately crystallized floater, is free of any damage and not repaired! A sparkling piece of marvelous quality with some calcite and byssolite to complete the picture. Definitely outstanding and of a unique, distinctly 3-dimensional character.

Its incredibly hard to find good milarite specimens thus I am happy to to offer this small but excellent specimen. This milarite specimen is a considerable 1.4 cm in length, lustrous and of good color and quality. With not a single scratch on the crystal, this is a remarkable specimen! It is accompanied by small smoky quartz crystals that provide a nice contrast. Please don't forget to watch the video as it very nicely shows the marvelous Alpine character and the overall beauty of this specimen!

RK385 - Londonite - Sold
Ampanivana pegmatite, Betafo District, Vakinankaratra Region, Antananarivo Province, Madagascar
Size: 2.7 x 2.3 x 1.8 cm

This single londonite crystal is truly remarkable! The crystal is complete all around and very well developed. At the side there is a single notch which seems to be due to a contact or a simple imperfection in the crystallization process. The rest is perfectly developed on all sides which is absolutely remarkable and totally unique! A small damage on the lower right corner is re-healed to the most part and thus very much acceptable. The color of the londonite is characteristic for the find: an almost sulphur-like yellow at the translucent outer layer with an opaque greenish core. A very appealing and rare piece of single crystal londonite from a unique 2015 find in Madagascar.

It doesn't come as a surprise that such an exquisite high quality specimen was found at the Cavradi gorge. One exceptionally sharp, glassy and lustrous quartz crystal is absolutely stunning and grown on a piece of matrix of just the right proportion! Some small hematite with tiny specks of red rutile is to be found at the bottom which is characteristic for this famous locale. Highest quality in best condition and aesthetics from the Swiss Alps!

BB6 - Adularia - Sold

Size: 13.2 x 5.8 x 4 cm

Like a shiny white pearl this flawless adularia sits single isolated on a grey-brown matrix that is sparkling with small adularia crystals. The contrast to the snow-white - and chlorite free - adularia intensely emphasizes the main crystal. The main adularia is translucent with some transparent patches and has great luster. The typical shape is perfectly formed and visible all around as the crystal is only attached to the matrix on a small spot. Great, catchy aesthetics meets highest crystal quality on this flawless specimen!

Complete all around and perfect! The unique shape is a bizarre product of stacked, clustered, multifaceted quartz that forms this sculpturesque floater specimen! The quartz is brightly lustrous and transparent with some internal cracks but no damage all around. It is in general colorless but has some smoky tinge at the upper terminations. A highly unusual and very good quartz specimen from Wallis!
