RE243 - Amethyst with Hematite - Sold
Moonlight Mine, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada

This is no ordinary amethyst specimen like the ones from Brazil or Uruguay but it sparkles with blood red hematitet inclusions just below the surface. Amethyst of the "Thunder Bay style" is exceptionally beautiful for the strong colors: intensive purple amethyst studded with deep red hematite! The color on this specimen is somewhat more open compared to other specimens with less hematite to reveal the purple amethyst. Still, dots of red hematite are spread across the whole specimen and cumulate towards the pointed terminations of the amethyst pyramids. The overall condition is near perfect with only minimal issues on one or two tips. A marvelous, sparkling specimen from the Thunder Bay area!

Impressive clarity and aesthetics are main attractions of this very fine small cabinet quartz specimen. The main crystal has a length of 6.7 cm and protrudes from the very center of a very beautiful group of crystals. The quartz is all pristine, colorless, lustrous and highly aesthetic! The tip of the main crystal is somewhat worn but which is not all too obvious and is the only small downside on this otherwise attractive specimen!

The size of these pericline crystals is absolutely stunning! The largest crystal at the center is around 4 cm long, massive and very well defined. The whole specimen is exceptionally three-dimensional which looks really amazing in person. As a complete floater it is in best condition all around.

PK07 - Fluorite on Quartz - Sold
Messina District, Limpopo Province, South Africa
Size: 12.1 x 10.1 x 4.4 cm

I have seen many specimens from this find some years ago on the market. Though, most of the specimens have disappeared very quickly and there are just a few specimens left on the market at the moment. Most of the crystals were not on such a nice matrix what makes this specimen different from the crowd. This is an amazing specimen which is showing great aesthetics and color. The size of the crystal is 4.1 cm on its longest dimension.

PA15 - Titanite on Albite - Sold
Tormiq valley, Haramosh Mts., Skardu District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan
Size: 8.6 x 8 x 5.1 cm

This titanite is by far the very best specimen from a recent find of a small pocket in the Tormiq valley, Pakistan. The whole pocket has yield just around half a dozen specimens of good quality. The crystal of this specimen has an excellent quality, because of the intense green color and the sharp edges! The size of the crystal is 2 x 1.8 cm with a thickness of 7 mm. The matrix of this specimen is very sparkling in person which is not visible on the picture. The combination with the white albite makes all the specimens out of this pocket really special. It is the dream of every collector to get this quality on white matrix because of the great contrast. I have almost never seen this, just a few specimens from the Alps have appeared to me in the past and these have always been impossible to get. The whole specimen is completely free of damage. This specimen is certainly good enough for the advanced collector of high demands.
