A rare and highly aesthetic paragenesis of dominant cubical pyrite, glassy colorless quartz and silvery arsenopyrite on a nice and beautiful orange matrix! Alpine pyrite is a rare thing to find, especially in such well arranged composition. The crystals are virtually perfect and complete all around. Sure, the pyrite is not as golden as Peruvian specimens but a comparison would be foolish anyway. This is Alpine and for that it's spectacular indeed!

This honey-yellow calcite from the Mashamba West Mine is a beautiful cluster of highly lustrous and glassy crystals in perfect shape, arranged as a sweeping sculpture! The distinctively 3-dimensional assembly is better visible in our video! Breathtaking luster and brillinace nicely catch the light and distribute warm amber-colored light. The backside is covered in green malachite which offers some contrast with the calcite. Apart from one single cleavage near the base this whole specimen is flawless and just beautiful in person!

The very uncommon jackstraws-like assembly of this tourmaline specimen might not be for everyone but if you are open for the extraordinary then this one might be just right for your collection!
A number of gemmy and lustrous tourmalines are intergrown in odd angles which adds up to compose this unique sculpture. The crystals are repaired several times but miraculously there are terminations on almost every end. Most impressive is the 8.3 cm crystal at the top left. It is compeltely gemmy with a strawberry red core and blueish green terminations which is very easily lit. Other crystals show similar color zonings with different emphasis towards red, blue or green. This is a surprising eye-catcher that stands out with beautiful quality and extraordinary composition!

The titanites on this specimen are exceptionally sharp twin crystals in best condition. The color is a mix of forest green and brown that is very easily lit through the gemmy titanite. With a length of around 3 cm the main crystals are rather dominant and impressive. Around the base there is some adularia and chlorite but no matrix as this is a complete floater. Very sharp exemplar of fine titanite!
Ex Wolfgang Vötter collection!

This "Fensterquartz" is absolutely wonderful and vibrant in person! Fantastic luster, glassy interior and a sweeping composition of interlocked crystals. It is a complete floater with a contact on the backside but which is re-crystallized and not damaged. Very three-dimensional and of highest quality. You definitely have to see this in person to realize its sheer beauty! The piece was found by Wolfgang Vötter, an important Austrian collector who sadly died in 2018 during a collecting trip.
