The combination of chalcopyrite and quartz with calcite is well known for the Boldut mine but I must say that this one is especially nice when it comes to contrast and crystal quality. Single isolated glassy white quartz crystals stand amidst chalcopyrite that comes as grey blocks with sharp golden shiny individuals in between. Also the white/pinkish calcite rose is of lovely shape and in very best condition!

It's a highly aesthetic celestine from the new finds in the Laman celestine deposit. The piece shows a 2.3 cm long main crystal sitting centrally on a very nicely crystallized matrix. The matrix is coated with fine orange/brown calcite crystals, which creates an excellent contast. The single celestine shows a beautiful and intense blue color, it is sharp-edged and free of damage. In our video you get a very good impression of the quality of the crystal and the stunning aesthetics!

GU019 - Quartz Faden - Sold
Crete, Greece
Size: 7.3 x 5.6 x 2.3 cm

Faden quartz specimens from Crete are known but not exactly common. This specimen shows a remarkable size and a very distinctive white faden that runs through the crystal. The quartz is transparent and lustrous and very well defined. Only the right side shows a contact and some damage but that's hardly visible from the front. Apart from that this is a striking specimen with a broad window-like front and an easily visible faden!

WP129 - Fluorite - Sold
Erongo Mts., Karibib Constituency, Namibia
Size: 7.3 x 6 x 2.6 cm

This is a particularly well shaped, oval fluorite aggregate. It has a blueish white perimeter and a dark center. But is it really a dark center? Only in bad lighting! Add only a little direct backlight and that center shines bright with different colors. Mostly yellow and brown but also red, purple and green are present. Very colorful and aesthetic! The backside is etched and has a rim of muscovite and feldspar.
The pictures show the piece in different lighting. It's amazing how different the colors appear in natural light and artificial light!

This piece has a remarkable size and impresses above all with a very nice composition. Surrounded by smaller, short prismatic crystals sits a single, massive main crystal of captivating quality. Highly lustrous, transparent, sharp, undamaged and with a pleasantly warm and intense brown color. The secondary crystals are of comparable quality and undamaged save for some peripheral contacts. You can see this high quality very nicely in our video!

This fine specimen caught my eye instantaneously: A doubly terminated scepter quartz with nice "windows" on the end faces. The piece is in absolute prime condition and really just stunningly beautiful. The multi-faceted, complex shape of quartz is truly remarkable. The quality is pristine with best transparency and luster. There is a single side crystal on the back, which is also undamaged.

Most striking here is the unique and appealing aesthetics. The main fluorite octahedron is set on two schorls like on stilts. It is all complete and undamaged. There are fluorite side-crystals as well which are also mostly complete although small damages are present. A striking specimen for its unique composition and the very nice crystal quality!

Erongo Mts., Karibib Constituency, Namibia
Size: 9 x 8 x 4.5 cm

This piece is from a new find in the Erongo Mountains and it is quite attractive in person. What I like here is the very aesthetic combination of a single 2.8 cm ilmenite crystal that is set at the side of the dominant main smoky quartz. The backside holds some hyalite which glows if you add UV light. About halfway through our video we activated the UV light so go on, have a look!

KA11 - Topaz - Sold
Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Size: 4 x 1.8 x 1.3 cm

That's a very sharp crystal with high brilliance and intense color. If it is shown with light from the bottom, the color gets even more intense with a good portion of red. It is well-terminated with extremely fine luster all around.
