Stibiotantalite is an extremely rare antimony tantalum niobium oxide that usually comes as dark brown to reddish crystals, often opaque and unattractive. In some exceptional cases however stibiotantalite develops well defined crystals with bright gemmy yellow color!
This crystal is exactly that and despite the rather small size it is an impressive piece for the material that shines with great crystal quality and a superb and flawless termination!

This is a gorgeous paragenesis of aquamarine and apatite on muscovite. The specimen features a 2.8 cm main aquamarine and a brilliant 1.5 cm fluorapatite. The whole assembly looks stunning in person and is in very best condition! Orange iron oxide coating on the muscovite brings a nice color and contrasts with the intensive pink apatite. The aquamarine is admittedly rather pale but makes up for this with very good luster, gemmyness and nice bevelled terminations. Our video gives a good impression about quality and aesthetics of this fine specimen!

Faden quartz specimens from Crete are known but not exactly common. This specimen shows a remarkable size and a very distinctive white faden that runs through the crystal. The quartz is transparent and lustrous and very well defined. Only the right side shows a contact and some damage but that's hardly visible from the front. Apart from that this is a striking specimen with a broad window-like front and an easily visible faden!

This is a particularly well shaped, oval fluorite aggregate. It has a blueish white perimeter and a dark center. But is it really a dark center? Only in bad lighting! Add only a little direct backlight and that center shines bright with different colors. Mostly yellow and brown but also red, purple and green are present. Very colorful and aesthetic! The backside is etched and has a rim of muscovite and feldspar.
The pictures show the piece in different lighting. It's amazing how different the colors appear in natural light and artificial light!

This piece has a remarkable size and impresses above all with a very nice composition. Surrounded by smaller, short prismatic crystals sits a single, massive main crystal of captivating quality. Highly lustrous, transparent, sharp, undamaged and with a pleasantly warm and intense brown color. The secondary crystals are of comparable quality and undamaged save for some peripheral contacts. You can see this high quality very nicely in our video!
