Tiny metallic grey dipyramidal crystals of descloizite cover a colorful, red, green and yellow sceletal matrix which is elegant and stunningly beautiful alike. The fragile piece is held together by glassy white calcite of sparkling quality. A flawless, most unusual, contrasting combination piece of the rather rare descloizite with brilliant calcite.
A gemmy singly crystal topaz with brigth luster all around and a lovely greenish tinge that's especially nice in natural light. The crystal has some chips or abrasions here and there but is generally in very good condition and of very high quality! A nice and classic little gem!
This whole specimen feels very natural due to the three-dimensional interplay of white feldspar matrix with black schorl and blue aquamarine. Right at the center of the feldspar is a single aquamarine of glassy and lustrous quality with distinct blue color. It is completely flawless and also the surrounding matrix-landscape is in very good shape. It's a marvelous specimen of great quality and sculpturesque appeal!
While most Alpine siderite is highly weathered and brown, this cluster is of a brisk olive-green color. Combined with glassy quartz needles, this is a wonderfully aesthetic specimen with bright and lustrous crystals. I especially love the outline with a sharp crystal of 1.7 cm on edge that proturdes at the very top. A beautiful piece of very fine quality!
A dominant and massy cluster of water-clear, colorless quartz with best luster all around and only very few peripheral issues. A small chip at the termination is re-healed. The whole piece has a greeninsh tinge due to some chlorite which is present but not too much to distract from the beauty of this rock. The bottom is completely crystallized and covered in green byssolite which also shines through the glassy quartz. A distinctly 3-dimensional piece of 360° beauty (go on, watch our video!) that shows great Alpine character!
This is a wonderful calcite, with a great gemminess and a beautiful striation on the surface, what looks gorgeous in person. With a size of 13.4 cm the crystal has a perfect size, and this in combination with the outstanding quality is very rare, and makes this piece very extraordinary. Except one face at the lower side at the back, the specimen is free of damage. As this is at the back it does not detract the beauty of this specimen at all, and also the lower side of the crystal is well crystalized. Much better and very glassy in person!
This silver is quite 3-dimensional and beautiful all around. You can nicely see the crystallization, grown on a grey matrix with white calcite. The attractive specimen looks very much alive, especially for its shiny copper-colored patina. A piece of rich details and beautiful composition.
Both sides of this unusual, tabular quartz crystal are just incredibly lustrous. Shaped like a butterfly, this specimen is utterly limpid, of unique shape and shows a beautifully sparkling surface. If searching for it, you find a smaller damaged zone at the side pointing to the back, but which is not visible from the front. Aside of that, this piece is in outstanding condition and of marvelous quality. Stunning, pretty and unusual alike!
High class quartz from Rauris, beautifully composed on a grey matrix. This piece is virtually perfect with no damage, naturally broken matrix and sharp, glassy crystals, many of which are doubly terminated. The outline is great with one single crystal sticking out like a tower above a castle's walls. This is definitely a superb specimen of remarkable quality and outstanding class!
An array of tabular hematite around one centimeter in diameter is embedded in a silvery muscovite matrix. This is a high quality miniature of classic character and in near perfect condition. The hematite is highly lustrous and sharp. Very attractive in person!
The two vertical main crystals on this quartz specimen are accompanied by a third crystal, horizontally lying by their side. The bright shiny quality of the crystals paired with the unusual composition and flawless condition make this floater a unique specimen from Rauris. Some yellow iron oxide is characteristic for the locale and adds a beautiful effect. Distinctly 3-dimensional and attractive on all sides!
One large, 2.1 cm sphalerite of great red-orange color sits on a sparkling quartz matrix like on a floating ship. The crystal is unusually grown with a striking, organically appearing termination. The matrix is shaped like a shard that is overgrown with small quartz crystals on all sides. The equally beautiful backside hosts a second, 1.1 cm sphalerite of matching quality. This is a brilliant, flawless specimen of utter aesthetics!
