Instead of "just" being a single crystal, this tourmaline is set on a kind of tourmaline shard, a piece that obviously was part of a larger crystal that broke off and completely re-healed on all sides. The bi-colored crystal is gemmy and lustrous with a flat termination. It is completely free of damage. An unusual specimen from this famed locale!
This Paprok tourmaline unites everything we look for in a high class specimen! Nice combination of colors, great luster, a sharp pointed termination and even small side-crystals, all found in this crystal of remarkable size! The tourmaline is gemmy from bottom to top, almost transparent and displays an amazing color zoning: Orange at the lower half, deeply emerald green in the middle and strikingly pink at the terminal zone. The termination itself has a pyramidal shape, is lustrous and with a brilliant surface structure, all perfect and unharmed! All over, this specimen is flawless and nicely lustrous along the striated prism faces. Two small side-crystals near the bottom complete the picture. A marvelous tourmaline with no downsides!
A rich spray of ocean green apophyllite showing very best sparkling luster and great clarity is set on a snow white matrix of well crystallized stilbite! The quality on this specimen is just outstanding and miraculously all crystals are in perfect condition with razor-sharp edges! Set atop the apophyllite are single isolated stilbite crystals like sugar candy. Being completely free of damage this is an excellent specimen of great color, quality and aesthetics!
Rich open colors, good size and a brilliant design make this tourmaline a real stunner! The crystal is semi-transparent at the bottom, where the color is a rich pink. The further up you look the glassier and more transparent it gets! The color changes about halfway up, first to a layer of white and then to an intensive glassy apple green! A small patch at the tip is pink again which puts just the cherries atop the icing! Most spectacular is the sharp, multifaceted termination that is unusually well developed! The whole specimen is perfectly flawless all around and highly lustrous. A stunning textbook tourmaline crystal!
