Very nice quality pericline crystals with a couple of small adularias in between. The largest pericline is around 2.5 cm long. An elegant specimen of beautiful white color that's free of any damage.
This single quartz crystal has an astonishing secret embedded inside its body: A hexagonal pyrrhotite column, around 1.6 cm long! The quartz itself is completely clear and smooth, allowing a perfect view to the unusual object. Breaks at the bottom and parts of the backside are not fresh but rehealed and not visible from the main view. A totally unique and appealing piece as you can very well see in our video!
A single fishtail-twin titanite of light mossy green color, mostly translucent with some gemmy patches, especially at the tip. The crystal is sharp and lustrous with some chloritizations at the lower part, typical for the locale of Felbertal. The bottom where it dispatched from the matrix is recrystallized. The rest is complete and unharmed. A strinking single crystal of considerable size and remarkable quality!
This unusual specimen is of pristine quality, much better actually than the pictures would suggest. To get a better impression of the fantastic luster, the glassy crystal body and the 3-dimensional beauty of this piece, I strongly recommend our video! This piece is in fact a group of three quartz faden, each of perfect quality and with a distinct thread running through the crystal, associated with nice iron oxide inclusions. All main crystals are flawless, even the bottom, where it detached from the matrix, is re-crystallized and perfect. Absolutely stunning in person!
A complete floater, etched on all sides to an extend that leaves no indication of the original crystallisation. The quartz is absolutely brilliant, water-clear and with an evenly frosted surface. It is in great condition with only one tiny chip at the tip that is not at all visible from the front and only apparent with the loupe. This is a real marvel that impresses not with size but with pure lovely aesthetics!
Brilliantly glassy adularia is covering this rock matrix in a beautiful and sparkling way. While the base is a carpet of smaller adularia, the crystals increase in size the further up you look. The crown is a cluster of interlocked glassy crystals up to around 1.5 cm in diameter. Nested between the adularia is a single smoky quartz crystal as well as some tiny rutile needles. An overall appealing specimen in very best condition!
Explorations some years ago in China have lead to a find of bright golden chalcopyrite in association with siderite at a new locale, called the Kaiwu Mine. This specimen features a cluster of sharp tetrahedral chalcopyrite on a bed of lustrous brown siderite all in very good condition with only some peripheral issues. The aesthetics of this piece is exceptional and catchy. A lovely piece of great quality and appealing composition!
A fine dolomite specimen from the magnesite deposit at Sunk which dates back well into the 17th century. This specimen features colorless crystals of flattened rhombic dolomite on a large first generation dolomite rhomb. Luster and clarity range from good to brilliant! The dolomite is associated with some quartz microcrystals. The bottom is cleaved but all visible parts are complete and in very good condition!
Initensive green and brown titanite on a contrasting white pericline matrix. This specimen is pure nature with titanite crystals of all sizes and shapes grown across the pericline like a vein. The largest crystal, around 3.2 cm in size, protrudes from the very top of the specimen and is easily lit by medium backlight. Nicely balanced and with a dinstinct outline this is a very aesthetic piece with no considerable damage. Some dark green chlorite over the pericline and red hematite at the very bottom add even more Alpine character to this unique piece. Sure, we have seen better quality on the titanite, but this is a remarkable piece when it comes to natural Alpine style beauty!
Two flawless, beautifully grown pink fluorite crystals of remarkable size are well centered on a white quartz and adularia matrix. The larger fluorite is absolutely striking with 2.6 cm on edge and a very intensive pink color that shines even in low light. The crystal quality is top! At some spots you can see right through to the bottom which even for Zinggenstock standars is extremely rare! There is no downside at all on this piece and also the second crystal is perfect in any respect.
Brilliant on the picture, even better in person!
A light green single crystal specimen of titanite that displays rather unusual crystal shape. Unlike many wedge-shaped, compact crystals this titanite is elongated and has a rounded yet completely flawless termination! Some extensions around the base are damaged but the main crystal is all complete and fine. The surface is lustrous, the crystal is mostly translucent with some gemmy patches along the edges. Very unusual and especially rare for the locale!
This is exactly as good as it gets! The quality of this smoky quartz gwindel is absolutely top notch with a perfectly limpid body, brilliant luster and a distinctly developed gwindel habit - the twist is a good 20°. Warm brown color intensively radiates when provided with some showcase ligth. The backside has a contact but which is completely recrystallized. One small chip is present but on the backside and thus not visible from the front. Apart from this the gwindel is flawless and honestly amazing in person! But words can hardly describe just how awsome this gwindel is so please go on and have a look on our video!
