Found by Hans Pleikner sen. and Wolfgang Vötter this combination of quartz with adularia is totally unique in shape and quality! A beautiful water-clear quartz crystal with lovely surface structure holds several white adularia crystals which makes for a pristine picture altogether! The whole piece is in outstanding condition with no downsides. An absolutely spectacular specimen that is unmatched by anything we have seen from the Alps!

WOW, please check the phantastic quality of this crystal on the video! When I saw this crystal the first time, it remembered me to the famous quartz crystals from Herkimer! This piece comes from the Forsterbach valley in Salzburg, while the shape is very typical for this locality. Some very fine sceptre quartz has beeen found there in the past! Also this crystal shows the prismatic faces on the bottom side, even though not much. It is doubly terminated and in a very good condition! Just some trivial edgewear is present what is fully acceptable. It is a beautiful jewel and true "eye catcher" in every collection.

This almost round specimen of Hematite is sprinkled with a sheer sunburst of rutile crystals. Though the combination of hematite with rutile might be nothing new – quite typical for the region in fact – the quantity and size of rutile crystals on this specimen is impressive. The whole piece, front and backside as well, is prettily sparkling with those perfect little red crystals. Also note that the hematite is much more 3-dimensional as the pictures would suggest. Watch the video for that matter, you will be amazed! The piece is free of any damage, attractive all around and highly lustrous. Beautiful indeed!

And again we are reminded why the tourmaline is referred to as the "gemstone of the rainbow". The main body of this crystal is blue like the heaven with a termination that holds a wonderful color-change to green and orange. This truly is a piece of art, as only nature can produce it. Admittedly there are some abrasions here and there but therefore we have a lower price on this one.

KR48 - Liddicoatite on Quartz - Sold

Aesthetics on this piece is just great. A single liddicoatite of pristine quality is attached to a white matrix of quartz and mica providing a stark contrast and much emphasizing the crystal. While the backside is somehow busy with several small, paler tourmalines, the main view is quite straight forward and very much elegant. The quartz, acting as a base for the crystal, is white and translucent, the mica on the other hand shows a strong purple hue and direct backlight. Back to the main actor of this piece, I can honestly say this liddocoatite is of amazing gemmy quality. All transparent, lustrous and of intensive raspberry red color. The termination is very well developed and shows many different faces. A great aesthetic piece in miniature size.

Wow, this hematite is absolutely amazing! Mirroring luster on all sides, hundreds of sharp blades, 3-dimensionally arranged to form a perfectly lovely iron rose. A small amount of white feldspar matrix adds a nice contrast and perfects the picture. There is no damage to be found only small contact induced imperfections at one spot. Fabulous, mesmerizing and of the highest quality the Fibbia-St.Gotthard-Piz Lucendro area is famous for!

"Unusual" is the word that commes to mind, when looking at this combination of quartz and calcite. "Beautiful" is the word that follows. A group of quartz crystals of superb quality is accompanied by tabular white calcite that protects the main quartz like a cape. The whole piece is in very good condition and even the bottom is fully crystallized. The quartz shows brilliant luster, perfect pointed terminations and is transparent, with blueish grey clouds at the lower parts. A remarkable piece all around!

A number of very thin and fragile brookite plates are perched on a contrasting piece of matrix, sharing the space with some nice little quartz crystals. On a piece like this it is only natural that some of the crystals are broken but amazingly the larger main crystal is completely perfect! The brookite shows beautiful hourglass paintings on otherwise orange and red crystals. A charming play of colors and markings that is totally mesmerizing in person. Hardly ever have I seen brookite specimen from this rare locale, finding one in such exceptional quality and lovely aesthetics is a small miracle indeed!

The complex architecture of this smoky quartz specimen is very much unique and fascinating. Several interlocked crystals with great luster and sharp edges form a towering specimen that essentially is grown as a sceptre. A very interesting aspect is the color play: While at first glance you would identify it as a white quartz with smoky patches there are also some purple tinges here and there. This visual effect is only visible if you turn it around in white light. Look closely in our video, the purple color is there!

The prehnite is grown over big plates of calite on this piece! It is very 3-dimensional and much better in person!

BS04 - Quartz Gwindel - Sold

This marvelous piece is a composition of two gwindels, resting on a matrix of pure lustrous quartz. A nice thing about this piece is the differing color of the quartz. While the matrix is mostly just clear and white, the gwindel are slightly smoky and thus are nicely silhouetted against the rest. The whole piece is in perfect condition and of a very appealing and 3-dimensional character. Please watch the video for a better impression! The only downside is probably, that the bottom is cut, but considering the utter beauty of this piece, the superb luster and clarity of the gwindels and the general aesthetics, this is surely acceptable.
