One single brookite crystal is set on a silvery rock matrix with sparkling white quartz association. The brookite is one of exceptional perfection in shape and quality alike. Even in roomlight illumination you can easily see the internal painting through the gemmy, warm brown crystal. Being 100% perfect this is an amazing piece and a rarity from the Alps!
The main crystal here is completely flawless and shows lovely quality! It is set on a blocky quartz that seems to have broken ages ago after which it completely re-healed. Very nice and aesthetic specimen in best condition and of stunning crystal quality!
Hardangervidda is famous for its world class anatase crystals. But also rutilated quartz is known although much rarer. This lovely specimen shows rich rutile inclusions in a sharp and glassy doubly terminated quartz. The main crystal is accompanied by a more blocky quartz at the base which is milky white but also has some rutile needles inside. The overal condition is close to perfect with little peripheral abrasions but no actual damage. Really nice in person!
It's a wild combination of green fluorite with quartz and schorl from the Erongo Mountains. It is 360° covered with crystals and has a well shaped 2.5 cm main fluorite at the very top. There are contacts near the base but further up everything is nicely crystallized. The main fluorite has a strong green color, it is transparent and well defined. Stark contrast and a strong natural feel make this specimen stand out!
A brilliant colorless calcite from the Großglockner that features a nice sculpturesque calcite crystal on a feldspar/quartz matrix. The calcite is transparent and lustrous and shows very attractive surface structures. The shape might be a bit irregular but that is all natural and there is no damage at all!
A vibrant spray of stibine needles is set on a nicely balanced piece of sparkling dolomite matrix. The matrix is crystallized on front and back which makes this a full floater specimen without damage.
An exceptionally vivid paragenesis of aquamarine and schorl on a matrix covered by white feldspar and the rare opal hyalite. The largest aquamarine has a length of 4.8 cm, it is transparent and shows a distinct blue color. With a total size of 13 cm, strong contrasts and the lovely interplay of all different minerals this is a specimen of unique appeal! The whole specimen is in excellent condition. Even the underside is largely crystallized. In our video, we also used a UV light lamp, which makes the hyalite glow green.
This group is a complete floater all around and very showy from all sides. Great luster and aesthetics with a small hint of purple what makes this specimen very attractive.
Due to the good hight of this gwindel, it showes a very well twist!t Also the bottom side is crystallized very well with some attached chlorite. It is in a very good condition over all!
This is an awesome flurite with many very nice flurites situated on matrix, which is coverd by yellowish quartz. The piece is very 3-dimensional and showy also from the sides! With a size of almost 14cm it is also in a perfect size range and very impressive in person therefore.
WOW, a beautiful stepped grown schorl with such a unique form! It is completely free of damage, glossy and of dark black color! Some feldspar is attached on one side, making a very lovely contrast to the black! Very special!
The truly unusual composition of this specimen reminds me of an eagle with spread wings, landing on a mountainside. The barite is flawless, lustrous and gemmy clear. The wurtzite matrix is not thicker than half a centimeter, as it was grown on another crystal (probably calcite) which then dissolved and left this remarkable piece. At the backside you can still see the imprint of this crystal. A unique sight in fantastic quality.
