If you haven't seen aquamarine from Habachtal before then don't worry: It is extremely rare and hard to come by! Similar to the famous emerald specimen of this locale, the aquamarine is embedded in a characteristic, well proportioned grey mica schist matrix. But the light reveals the difference! Charming turquoise blue color radiates from this Alpine gemstone and more than baffles the viewer. The crystal is flawless and transparent with one sharp edge at its front. Absolutely remarkable and rare, found by the famous Sebastian Berger around the year 1980.

Nice aesthetics and high crystal quality make this a lovely piece from Rauris, popular among Alpine collectors. The quartz is lustrous all around and completely water-clear at the inside. The termination is not damaged though a little bit etched or contacted. At the base of the quartz there is a small amount of pericline matrix. A lovely piece with no downsides!

This apatite comes from a pocket which was found around 8 years ago. It is a floater all around and rich of terminations, what is highly appreciated by collectors. Very nice in person!

The flat shape of this rutile (var. sagenite) specimen funnily reminds me of a rubber-duck. The bright, lustrous sagenite is embedded in highly weathered brown matrix with some calcite. The piece is not broken but all natural. A remarkable piece indeed!

This is a perfect floater without any damage. The distinctive "V"-shape provides this tourmaline with a unique look that is underlined by brilliant colors and luster. The main body is a fresh green with a change to red in the final thin layer. A striking piece of unique character.

Salmon pink barite and smoky cerussite are evenly distributed on this appealing specimen from Marocco. The blocky cerussite is transparent and sparkling, the thin tabular barite is a shimmering white with salmon pink edges. Dispite the fragile crystals this piece is in excellent condition with peripheral contacts but no actual damage. Classic, elegant and simply beautiful.

The quality of this crystal is amazingly good. It is translucent, highly lustrous and pristine all around. It has the typical "tessiner style", which is well known for this area. At the lower side it is grwon into some calcite, why it more appears like a matrix piece then just a single crystal.

The most special thing about this piece is its size. The 2.4 cm long crystal is actually a knee-twin with a deep proustite-red color and distinct striation. The backside is covered in yellow mica crystals. Sharp and beautiful, this single crystal of rutile literally stands out!

Massive, straight and with a very catchy, triangular termination this is an exceptionally fine piece in person. It's actually hard to decide which side to take as the main view as this piece has no obvious backside. As a decision aid there is a single quartz crystal on one side that it is not visible on the picture but well so in the video. The crystal is flawless and elegant all around.

A classic cerussite from one of the very best locales for the mineral! The specimen shows beautiful and distinctively developed snow-flake character and an overall very nice aesthetics with intergrown matrix. The condition is fine with smaller issues here and there but nothing serious at all. The cerussite shows a pale yellow tinge, very good luster and really a lovely and characteristic structure. Very distinctive and appealing in person!

This opal specimen is out of a unique 2014 find that yielded a small number of these rare opal variety. The striking turquoise Paraiba-color is caused by copper and catches the eye instantly. Analysis identified this mineral as the extremely rare tridymite crystobalite opal.The opal is grown over colorless quartz and rock matrix. The specimen does show some damage but the outstanding color and the sheer rareness of this mineral more than make up for this little deficiency. A beautiful piece of natural aesthetics and strong color!

The 15 cm quartz crystal show a classic symmetric shape with a pointed termination and broad, lustrous front faces. The bottom is contacted halfway up on the back where the crystal detatched from the rock but is all free of damage as is the rest of this rather dramatic specimen. The clouded lower part is accompanied by a couple of small side-crystals which makes for a nice outline. Further up the crystal turns completely glassy and tapers towards a sharp and flawless pointed termination! A marvelous quartz of considerable size!
