A brilliant quartz specimen of unusually attractive aesthetics! The cluster of glassy, highly lustrous quartz prisms with beautiful inclusions at the lower parts is perched on a sparkling schist matrix. The quartz is well defined with pointed terminations all in best condition. The matrix is a very lively combination with feldspar, quartz and brown limonite in perfect condition. Overall this piece strikes as a well balanced and exceptionally aesthetic Alpine beauty!
A pink fluorite floater specimen that's in best condition all around! What at first glance might appear like dark matrix at the lower parts of the piece are in fact chlorite-inclusions, shining through the crystals. The fluorite is lustrous, sharp and transparent with a distinctive pink color!
As you can see in our video, the piece is crystallized all around. A superb cluster of Alpine fluorite in very best shape!
The bright variety of colors is most certainly the reason why we love tourmalines so much! And this single crystal is a bright shiny star when it comes to open and gemmy colors. At least five different zones are easily visible - dark mossy green, deep water blue, grassy green, white and candy pink at the termination - with transitions and shifts that make it even more irresistable! Incredibly enough, the crystal is gemmy and lustrous from bottom to top! Naturally the tourmaline is repaired three times which is inevitable on such an elongated thin crystal. The termination is partly contacted but also shows the bevelled habit. This piece is both, an interesting collection piece for the intriguing and uncommonly visual crystal development as well as a beautiful gemstone of rich open colors!
What this little crystal has to offer is uttermost brilliance, sharpness and very nice colors! The tourmaline is completely glassy from bottom to top where it ends in a sharply cut polyhedral termination. Absolutely lovely in person!
This large and sweeping sculpture is from an unusual find in Minas Gerais that is characterized by tiny tourmaline needles completely covering every surface of the main crystals which generates a lovely visual effect! This whole specimen is not free from damage as there are several repairs but all main crystals as well as the majority of small side-crystals and attachments are well terminated and complete. This is definitely an attractive specimen of beautiful moss-green color with pink terminations and details. Very nice and unusual in person!
The crystals on this specimen are arranged in a vug that opens in a porous feldspar-rich matrix. Looking in that vug you find absolutely brilliant apple-green titanite with best wet-look luster in combination with white adularia. The largest titanite has a little over 2 cm. It's a very natural looking specimen with high quality crystals!
Very well developed and deep blue azurite crystals are nicely arranged to form this unusually pretty miniature specimen! The surface is lustrous with some spots of malachite here and there which adds some color contrast. The backside is contacted and shows some larger malachite zones. All over there is no damage at all. All crystals are in best condition, sharp and of intensive color! A beautiful classic from this old French locale!
Two gemmy aquamarine crystals with strong blue color are set on a white feldspar matrix with accents of black schorl. The V-shaped arrangement is certainly attractive, especially in combination with high crystal quality. Both crystals are glassy and lustrous and show beautiful modified terminations! It's an especially fetching exemplar from this rich and famous region that shows wonderful quality and aesthetics alike!
A totally brilliant piece of perfect aesthetics as you only find it from this classic german locale. Size and arrangement are unbeatable forming a piece of just dramatic visual impact. Being all perfectly terminated, delicately structured and totally flawless this specimen reminds me of a group of petrified wood, all elegant and calm. An outstanding piece of pure aesthetics and perfect crystal quality!
This is one of the nicest pieces of pure pericline I have ever seen. Despite the rather small crystals this very three-dimensional specimen radiates its exceptionally lovely charm! Pristine crystals are arranged upon each other, sparkling, sweeping and all perfect! An outstanding specimen for this mineral!
Among local collectors this skeletal quartz is well known and counts as one of the best of it's kind! And that's not surprising if you see the brilliant quality and the sweeping shape! The piece is a completely etched floater with only hints left to guess the original hexagonal prisma shape. It is colorless, water-clear and with best sparkling luster on all sides! A marvel of excellent quality and condition as you can easily see in our video!
Alpine adularia of comparable size and quality have almost exclusively been found in the region of Ober- and Untersulzbachtal. This dramatic floater features a single main crystal which is 10 cm across and distinctively developed! The translucent crystal shows sharp edges and a nice waxy surface. It is set on a matrix of gemmy adularia, metallic green chlorite and small but very glassy muscovite. 3-dimensional shape, impressive size and outstanding condition all make this a spectacular exemplar of Alpine adularia!
