A classic specimen of Alpine adularia tightly packed on a matrix plate. The crystals reach a size of around 3 cm and are translucent white with a silky shimmer. The piece is in overall good condition with only peripheral issues. The backside is crystallized as well and shows small adularia, pericline, hematite and even fine rutile needles. A fine specimen of typical Alpine character.

A lovely group of two color-intensive tourmaline crystals with superb polyhedral terminations. The piece has an interesting history as it was on display in the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh, from where it went to the auction in 1999. See the attached front cover from the auction catalogue where the specimen is depicted - though in a very bad light allover. Rest assured that the color in reality is intensive and deep as you can see it in our picture! The tourmalines have very best luster all around and are completely free of damage. The terminations are uniquely well developed, pyramidal habit made of a multitude of small faces. Absolutely impressive and marvelous in person!

The impressive 1 cm main boleite cube is single isolated at the center of a characteristic brown matrix. The crystal is opaque and shows a dark blue color with small gemmy patches of bright cobalt blue. The whole crystal is sharply defined and free of damage. A second crystal with a bit over 0.5 cm on edge is hidden at the back as you can see in our 360° video. Size and perfection of this specimen from the type locality are outstanding and extremely hard to get on todays market!

The color of this amethyst cluster is very nice! It is in a very good condition with no important damage. Some small mica is attached, what is a very nice accent to the amethyst.

I especially like the aesthetics of this specimen. The completely sharp and clear scepter-head sits on a milky quartz body that’s accompanied by a piece of matrix. Very nice and, despite some edge-wear, in very good condition. To be honest, it’s pleasant to see this clear, colorless quartz scepter of perfect aesthetics, as the vast majority of scepters are amethyst. A real treasure for any Alpine mineral collection!

The calcite floater forms an excellent base for this nice pink fluorite and the accompanying glassy smoky quartz. This piece has no obvious damage. Especially nice about it is the exceptional combination and the nice arrangement you rarely find. The fluorite is of pretty pink color and fine structure. This is a piece with many details that is worth a second look!

An elongated prismatic quartz crystal of perfect water-clear quality, accompanied by a smaller side-crystal. Both crystals are brilliantly lustrous all around and sharp. One unique aspect about this piece is the crystals surface. Just below the surface you see hundreds of small dots, seemingly imprints of tiny quartz crystals. Anyway as the crystal grew on those small imprints have been closed to form a perfectly smooth surface. What remains is a beautiful sparkling effect! The bottom of this specimen is completely crystallized and in overall well condition. One issue worth mentioning is a small chip at the termination that is but hardly visible from the front. An impressive piece of striking aesthetics and, as you very well can see in our video, just brilliant quality!

This is an dramatically large translucent orange-brown scheelinte from the Hohe Tauern region in Austria. The crystal shows good luster and is in almost perfect condition. Some contacts at the bottom and minor edgewear are of no concern on a rare and otherwise complete piece like this. This is a perfect fit to every alpine collection and brings some color into it!

Glassy white calcite spheres are clustered atop this nicely crystallized matrix like shiny pearls. The piece is a floater and in almost perfect condition. "Almost" as there are one or two cleaved calcite at the left side which fortunately are not at all apparent. A piece of just great aesthetics and very fine quality, 360° beautiful!

Okay, it is only quartz and calcite, but the aesthetics of this piece is definitely lovely and worth a closer look! Snow-white quartz of characteristic Dal'negorsk growth pattern and sparklingly lustrous carries a backpack of light brown, rhombohedral calcite. A catchy outline and stark contrast defines this attractive specimen that is in very fine condition and beautiful on both, front and backside.

PT4 - Titanite - Sold

Found in the early 90s this piece lost nothing of its fascinating charm! High class titanite of intensive forest green color, bright luster and sharp crystallization are nicely arranged on a beautiful landscape of white feldspar and white to grey calcite, surrounding the picture. The green color strongly contrast on the monochrom background emphasizing the slender gemmy crystals the largest of which is 1.8 cm long. This is a dramatic piece of stunning beauty and highest possible crystal quality!

The hematite on this piece is of the best quality you can look for! It has mirrow like luster and is perfect all around. The contrast of the metallic hematite to the white matrix of small adularias is very well. It is perfectly situated on the top of the matrix showing a great aesthetics.
