Like juicy oranges, these mimetite crystals impress with strong and bright color. The lustrous surface even increases the effect. Sitting on a brown and orange matrix, this specimen gives the overall impression of an exotic fruit, ready to be picked. The crystals are sharp-edged, lustrous and bright, in parts even clear. With size of up to 1.1 cm in diameter, you really don't have to search for them on this remarkable and virtually flawless piece. There have not been any new finds in quite some time, so we are happy to present such an extraordinary piece, rich in details and simply appealing!
The aesthetics of this aragonite specimen is quite impressive. Very fine, snow-white branches are covering the matrix while larger crystals are towering above like trees. An overly attractive piece in good condition with an magically intact landscape of thin branches. A well composed specimen that is beautiful and very much appealing on all sides.
Another "screwdriver" of comparable quality but slightly smaller. The crystal is mostly black but strikingly green at the termination. It's interesting and astounding to see the typical triangular shape of a tourmaline broken down to its mere outlines. The crystal is free of any damage all around.
A glassy foater specimen of etched fluorite from Italy. The surface is frosted but smooth enough to let you see inside the clear crystal. It is free of any damage and shows a greenish tinge. Near the backside you find some spots of purple that distribute the color throughout the fluorite. Very 3-dimensional and appealing in person!
This is a characteristic piece from Serifos Island in very best condition! The whole piece is rather 3-dimensional and lively with translucent elongated crystals with pointed terminations that are all free of any damage. The intensive green color, caused by acicular actinolite inclusions, is easily lit through the translucent crystals. The surface has a nice waxy luster.Perfect in quality and aesthetics, this specimen has no flaws whatsoever and is a great example for this rare green variety of quartz. Very nice in person!
This single anatase from the legendary Hardangervidda is a sharp pyramidal crystal of very nice quality. Most amazing is the intensive blue color that radiates from the top section when backlight is applied. Very well developed and in near flawless condition!
This is an especially fine and colorful liddicoatite crystal that has a great lot of beautiful details to offer. Most certainly the dramatic color-play of different green shades, orange and saturated strawberry red will enchant you in combination with great luster on all sides. Even the bottom is perfectly terminated leaving nothing to be desired. At the sides there is some white feldspar giving it a snow-covered appearance. The whole crystal is translucent and a real gem!
This is a fine piece of sceletal smoky quartz. While the luster is not the best I have ever seen, color and clarity are remarkable indeed. Nicely shaped like a blazing flame this floater is flawless all around and a dashy view. The video shows a better impression of the 3-dimensional quality of this fine piece.
Very nice quality pericline crystals with a couple of small adularias in between. The largest pericline is around 2.5 cm long. An elegant specimen of beautiful white color that's free of any damage.
This single quartz crystal has an astonishing secret embedded inside its body: A hexagonal pyrrhotite column, around 1.6 cm long! The quartz itself is completely clear and smooth, allowing a perfect view to the unusual object. Breaks at the bottom and parts of the backside are not fresh but rehealed and not visible from the main view. A totally unique and appealing piece as you can very well see in our video!
A single fishtail-twin titanite of light mossy green color, mostly translucent with some gemmy patches, especially at the tip. The crystal is sharp and lustrous with some chloritizations at the lower part, typical for the locale of Felbertal. The bottom where it dispatched from the matrix is recrystallized. The rest is complete and unharmed. A strinking single crystal of considerable size and remarkable quality!
This unusual specimen is of pristine quality, much better actually than the pictures would suggest. To get a better impression of the fantastic luster, the glassy crystal body and the 3-dimensional beauty of this piece, I strongly recommend our video! This piece is in fact a group of three quartz faden, each of perfect quality and with a distinct thread running through the crystal, associated with nice iron oxide inclusions. All main crystals are flawless, even the bottom, where it detached from the matrix, is re-crystallized and perfect. Absolutely stunning in person!
