Doubly terminated, strawberry colored and with a very nice surface structure! This tourmaline from the Ampanivana pegmatite is overall in near-perfect condition with modified terminations on bottom and top. The crystal needs direct backlight to reveal its colors but those are really worth it as the predominant strawberry red is encased by a fresh apple green which is totally beautiful!
An aesthetic combination of a rather large main quartz emerging from a group of smaller crystals. The quartz is completely colorless, glassy and lustrous, with no damage to speak of. A beautiful, well developed specimen with no downsides!
This brilliant thumbnail specimen features a number of sharp, lustrous and well developed doubly terminated anatase crystals on a white feldspar matrix. The largest anatase has a bit over 1 cm and is accompanied by a small quartz which adds the little extra to the already stunning composition!
A lovely little anatase cystal on a contrasting white matrix! The aesthetic is quite striking, the anatase is all perfect and sharp with a maximum diamter of 0.9 cm. A perfect little thumbnail specimen from the Zard Mountains!
Jet black tabular hematite in combination with schorl, quartz and albite micro-crystals. The hematite has very nice luster on front and backside and while it has mostly rough edges those are not damaged but natural. The hematite is set on a single clear and lustrous quartz crystal that has a thin schorl grown right through it. The larger schorl crystals are on the front and up to 1 x 0,3 cm in size. All in all this is a very nice combination piece without damage from the rauris quarry. The pictures also show the exact findspot.
It is very hard to find a good sceptre quartz from alpine regions! This fat crystal is impressive, has a very clear sceptre shape, great luster and clarity. It is a perfect fit for every alpine collection, but also easy good a enough to be placed in a worldwide collection because of its great quality.
The shape of this specimen is absolutely unique! I named this piece "The Sailing Ship" which is clearly visible on the photos! The specimen consists of two beautiful barites, one of them looking like the bloom a rose, and the upper part of the matrix is covered by very nice crystals of quartz! A perfect fit for every collector of Berbes or barite, or just to loosen up a collection of fluorites!
Sharp and water-clear! This is a single quartz crystal of exceptional quality. The pointed termination displays a large window-like face that grants a deep insight, right to the bottom of the colorless transparent crystal. A distinct quartz sceptre peeps out between some other translucent quartz crystals. All surfaces are lustrous and undamaged. some rust brown limonite adds color to this lovely little - yet highly aesthetic - specimen! Have a look on our video which gives a perfect impression of this charming piece!
Especially the mainy pyrite on this specimen shows just excellent crystallisation and brilliant golden luster, with bevelled edges. The surface is nicely striated and shows no damage. A second pyrite has an imprint at its side but is also undamaged though the luster is not as good. Both crystals are embedded in a landscape of white quartz. Have a 360° look in our video!
Octahedral fluorites of different sizes are scattered over a surface of acicular quartz. The sometimes single isolated, sometimes interlocked crystals have wonderful green color with purple edges which adds a beautiful visual effect! The backside is a matrix of massive green fluorite where the white quartz is attached to. The whole specimen is in very good condition with mostly flawless, translucent crystals. Very aesthetic in person!
While you can see the red and green colors even in low light, the full extent of this tourmalines beauty is only revealed with direct illumination. This tourmaline is a wild beauty of chaotic structure with a deep red core played about by bright green and orange. There is no damage to be found here, except at the bottom side. Unusual aesthetics combined with superb quality makes this an attractive and appealing choice!
