A large, left handed quartz crystal, 5.5 cm in diameter, carries several smaller crystals, nicely intergrown with white feldspar. The terminations are only slightly overgrown with chlorite, just so much that you can still see inside the completely transparent crystals. The side faces are free of chlorite and lustrous. The somehow chaotic shape of this unusual specimen is totally irresistible and exceptionally beautiful. A flawless piece of pure, untamed beauty!

Boleite is an extremely rare halide mineral that has almost exclusively been found in the type locality Boleo in Mexico and comes as indigo blue cubes on matrix or in this case as a floater crystal. The 6.5 mm on edge cube is lustrous blue with gemmy patches. Most special however ist the tetrahedral cumengeite that is set on each of the six square faces. Cumengeite, another halite, is also exclusive to Boleo but is even much rarer. The combination of those two species is equally stunning and classic. A specimen that could only come from this legendary locale! The composition is very well defined and in best condition. Best thing to do if you hold this piece in hands is to grab a loupe and have a very close look on the shiny surface, the distinct crystallization and the green side mineral - probably atacamite - that surrounds the tetrahedral cumengeite. Really a fantastic little specimen if you have a sympathy for rarities!

A number of water-clear, colorless fluorite cubes up to 1.3 cm on edge are scattered about a nice sand colored matrix. This matrix is all natural with smaller crystals on all sides. Between the fluorite you will find some white calcite as well as some microcrystals of pyrite and galena. This is a very natural specimen, classic and without any damage. It was found in 2009 and part of the DI Wilfried Schlosser collection in Vienna (label included) for several years.

This is a exceptionally large cluster of intergrown amethyst crystals of beautiful violet color. In fact this must have been a complex scepter head before it broke off and rehealed at the backside. Unfortunately the very tip of the central termination is damaged but to be honest, a large piece like this from Mörchnerkar would cost a small fortune if it was perfect. This is nevertheless an impressive piece, showing the great quality an Alpine amethyst could reach!

This is an outstanding etched quartz specimen with impressive size that shows exceptionally rich structure, color and just beautiful details! The unusual etched shape reveals its secrets when you turn the piece around (go ahead and watch our video for a look on this aspect). You can see on the flat prism faces, that this was once a huge single quartz crystal that only later dissolved to form this remarkable piece! That’s long-age geographic history made visible in one dramatic specimen! The quality is high, showing very good clarity and great luster. Some surface chloritisation at the back radiates dark green color throughout the whole crystal. Absolutely stunning and beautiful in person!

A classic aggregation of glassy quartz crystals and brown to orange limonite with a dominant main crystals protruding from the top. While there are very few minor issues here or there the main crystal is all perfect. Even the backside of the more massive quartz matrix is all crystallized making this a complete floater specimen! The contrast of limonate to colorless quartz is characteristic for the locale and overall appealing. Classic Alpine beauty in strikingly well condition!

Like a birds nest the tetrahedrite is circularly arranged around a cluster of transparent quartz crystals. The tetrahedrite is sharp and with metallic luster. There is some damage at the periphery but the main view is in very good condition with only minor wear. This is definitely an unusual and nice piece to look apon!

First of all I strongly suggest you have a look on our video because only there will you see the full magnitude of this fantastic specimen! A perfectly developed colorless quartz gwindel is set between two matching prismatic quartz crystals which makes for a very much unique and intriguing appeal. The 3-dimensional design with the gwindel in the center is a real eye-catcher! The quartz is all glassy and overall with brilliant luster. The terminations are covered in a very fine layer of chlorite which adds some character without disturbing the pristine quality of the crystals. The condition is virtually flawless with only such minimal edge-wear that you will need the loupe to even recognize it. The bottom is contacted or recrystallized with some sparkling matrix. Another outstanding specimen from the construction works of the NEAT tunnel that amazes with incredible quality from deep within the mountains heart!

Only recently found in 2014, this is an incredible piece of attacamite on matrix. The whole piece is a sparkling fireworks. Attacamite crystals as well as accompanying quartz are highly lustrous and of brilliant quality. Green malachite adds some color and even improves the wonderful aesthetics of this fine specimen. The attacamite cluster itself with crystals of up to 1 cm in length is in excellent condition and utterly attractive. To be honest, this piece is even better in person!

This is exactly the type of dark brown color with a slight reddish tinge most collectors are looking for and I rarely see pieces of such calibre! The prismatic crystals on this specimen are completely limpid and free of internal cracks. Fantastic luster on 360° and sharp pointed terminations are perfecting this outstanding piece. The quartz is grown on a contrasting, crystallized matrix and prominently presents its warm and harmonious aesthetics. The main crystal is in fact a combination of two intergrown crystals, showing twin terminations. Marvelous in every aspect and exceptionally rare in color and quality!

Doubly terminated, rather large and of lustrous, transparent quality, this quartz specimen is quite striking for the locale. Smaller side crystals are sitting directly at the main body, enhancing the overall aesthetics of this piece. Some accessory pericline at the bottom supports the already striking lower termination. The top is somehow chipped but which does not strike the eye easily. A great quartz of dominant and attractive appearance!
