Complete and pristine clarity, best mirroring luster and a well-rounded composition are defining this exceptional specimen! You can really find perfection here as there is not the slightest abrasion anywhere on this aesthetic classic. Right through the many glassy crystals you can see the matrix as an appealing base with limonite adding some golden color to the quartz. The bottom is also covered in limonite and some dark pyramidal microcrystals which appear to be anatase. A stunning specimen of highest quality and attractive composition!
Golden colored quartz in best transparent quality on a nice crystallized matrix. Of course the color comes from iron oxide that coats mostly the smaller crystals around the base. The color is reflected through the sharp and glassy main crystal which generates this beautiful visual effect! The whole piece is in great condition with only minuscule abrasions but no damage anywhere!
This single adularia twin crystal is quite massive and dramatic in person. It is well developed all around with a pearlescent shine on all sides. It is translucent to even trasparent at some parts and is free of damage.
This dark brown smoky quartz crystal is associated with an exceptionally well defined adularia crystal of impressive quality, visible at the specimen's bottom. This combination, as well as a growth of tabular mica at the backside, makes the piece special. The smoky quartz itself has a brilliantly lustrous front, it is well defined and in very well condition with only some abrasions at the backside. As you can see in the picture there are some internal cracks and inclusions but apart from that the crystal body is transparent and has a nice and warm brown color.
Two blue celestine crystals on a contrasting yellowish calcite matrix, shaped like a decorative bowl. Especially the smaller crystal on the left displays brilliant luster and transparency at a distinctive shape. The right crystal is 4.2 cm long and doubly terminated. It has cracks but is not actually damaged. It's an overall very nice and aesthetic specimen with only minor abrasions.
There's simply no better way of presenting a crystal. This doubly terminated smoky quartz is freely set on a granite matrix with smoky quartz side-crystals and white feldspar. The 8 cm main crystal is transparent, sharp, well defined and virtually perfect with only minimal abrasions. It's wonderful how both terminations are free and only the middle section is attached to the matrix. The matrix again is crystallize on all sides. Some of the smaller smokies are damaged but only on the backside and also here most crystals are intact. Very attractive and of high quality!
Here you can see a beautiful smoky crystal on matrix of very high quality. It has a very nice smoky color, of middle intensity. The crystal is very glassy and lustrous. Some small adularia is attached to the matrix. Free of damage!
This is a very lovely fluroite from an old find at the Hocharn Westwand, well known as the "Reiter pocket"! Only a very few good pieces was found there! It is very risky to collect at this place, because it is in the middle of a vertical wall, and sadly the guy who found it died at this place. I personaly like these a lot because of the beautiful intense purple color!
A tender pink tourmaline crystal with a hint of mint green at the termination. Highly lustrous, without damage and some lepidolite attached on one side! Impressive in person because of the good size! Color like on the photos and too pale on the attached video!
Hundreds of gemmy quartz crystals are nested in this elongated specimen and form a distinct, pretty aesthetics. The whole piece is of high quality with a crystallized backside and just one contacted zone. Heart of this specimen is a brilliant 7.6 cm long doubly terminated crystal. Very nice, very sparkling, very appealing!
A fine piece of two intensive pink tourmaline on a beautiful matrix of quartz, mica and cleavelandite. The larger main crystal is prominently situated at the top of this specimen giving it a catchy look of perfect aesthetics. There is no damage to be found on either one of the tourmalines or even the quartz crystals. A superb and rare piece of tourmaline on matrix from the pegmatites of Burma.
The massive base of pure pyrite, completely covered in cuboctahedral pyrite crystals, supports the massive main crystal that sits right on its center. Perfect condition, a wonderful surface structure, beautiful modifications and a striking luster distinguish this specimen. Front left you find numerous scalenohedral calcite crystals of milky white coloring that give the impression of lovely butterflies warming in the sun. Smaller sphalerite all over the main crystal are adding nice accents. This is a beautiful piece with its own certain charm!
