An amorphous cluster of yellowish white adularia is perched on a single smoky quartz crystal. An unusual composition of great contrast and catchy aesthetics. The quartz is mostly clear with some internal cracks, especially at the upper half, where the adularia is attached. The termination is frosted while the rest is of good luster. The whole specimen is free of any considerable damage. Its a small miracle this unique and fragile structure is still perfectly intact!

Fantastic luster and textbook composition are strikingly apparent on this fine crystal! It is a combination of two doubly terminated quartz crystals stacked together to shape this piece that reminds me more of a sceptre. The luster and overall crystal quality here is simply amazing and totally rare. There is one small chip to the termination but which is hardly visible on a rich specimen like this. The overall condition is near-perfect with some re-healed issues at the backside but nothing that would concern you. A real marvel of exceptionally fine aesthetics!

Pristine smoky quartz crystals on a white contrasting matrix shape this absolutely marvellous piece. The quartz is just alltogether stunning: Completely limpid, "wet-look" lustrous and razor sharp. The condition is just perfect all around. The whole area of Göscheneralp is commonly known for its very fine pink fluorite specimens but obviously also some great smoky quartz has been found. A small cabinet piece of exceptional quality and beautiful aesthetics!

This smoky quartz specimen is a lovely cluster of clear and lustrous crystals of intensive color. It is in very good condition all around with only some contacts or small peripheral damage. All main crystals are flawless and crystallized even at the beautiful underside that is richly speckled with adularia. The roughly U-shaped piece impresses at closer view and embodies a characteristic Val-Giuv smoky quartz specimen.

This water-clear and highly lustrous quartz prism is overgrown by a cluster of pink fluorite octahedrons, the largest of which is over 2 cm on edge! The fluorite is all transparent, flawless and shows a nice frosted surface. An absolutely lovely and extremely rare combination piece, found by the famous "Strahler" Kaspar Fahner. The elegance of this brilliant piece is simply unsurpassable as you can very well see in our video!

A great am massy amethyst specimen as is rare for the locale of Mörchnerkar, Austria. The whole crystal is impressively well developed with beautiful stepped growth on all sides. The many faces prevent a look to the transparent inner crystal body but fortunately the smooth terminal faces make good for that. The purple amethyst color is only visible at the termination, the rest is mostly colorless quartz. This is an absolutely dramatic piece in overall well condition with a re-crystallized bottom. Unfortunately the termination as well as a few spots on the sides are damaged which well reduces the price on this otherwise great piece. A worthy specimen for any collector who is willing to trade 10% perfection for 100 % natural Alpine beauty!

The perfect composition with a dramatic contrast catches the eye immediately! The crystal itself shows a fantastic color that even exceeds that of the picture. Please watch the video for a better view!We were lucky to get this piece out of a collection with an older label that dates back to 2002. Sure, this piece needs strong light from the back to reveal its beautiful color but when provided, the deeply purple color is totally stunning. The crystal is sharp and well at the front but has obvious damage at the backside. Still, this is a worthy little specimen for the locale that strikes with dark, radiating color!

A classic and rare piece from the pegmatites of Burma. Several pink tourmalines are spread about this nicely crystallized matrix-piece of quartz, mica, orthoclase and cleavelandite. The largest tourmaline is around 1.4 cm thick and in perfect condition. One of the side-crystals is broken which is a bit of a damper here but still, this is quite a fascinating combination-piece of generally high quality and aesthetics.
