Unlike many of the calcites from this site this impressive crystal shows rather intensive golden yellow color even at normal daylight (as you can see in the two lower pictures). The complex form, perfect clarity and radiant surface structure are utterly amazing and represent the best of the locale!
There is a contact at one side but the crystal itself is in fantastic condition. Some crystallized matrix at the base adds much to the already beautiful appearance of this calcite specimen!

The cactus-quartz from Boekenhoutshoek are classics from over 20 years ago that stand out for their unusual shape. The prismatic amethysts are overgrown by a second generation of short pointed crystals which generates the unique catcus-look. While most specimens from this site are rather pale, it is amazing to see how deep and strong the purple color can become in this specimen! Superb luster and a very attractive aesthetics make this a terrific specimen in best condition!

I love the distinctive “V”shape aesthetics and the brilliant quality of this fine quartz with chlorite inclusions! Both crystals are perfectly flawless right up to the sharp pointed terminations. The crystals bodies is glassy and lustrous and with very nice chlorite inclusions which looks like seaweed in an aquarium. The crystals are set on a rock matrix with white adularia. When you turn it around you also see smaller quartz crystals, one of which is crossing one of the main crystals. All those side-crystals are undamaged as well.

WOW, this is an awesome indigolite in combiantion with a very nice doubly terminated quartz on the back! Most of the pieces coming to the market are simply single crystals without any matrix and I have seen this combiantion only very rareley in the past! The quartz is perfectly grown on the back side of the troumaline here and also in the right hight! The indigolite has a beautiful pointed termination, which improves the over all appearance even more! All this properties combined on one pice are making a beautiful outline here and a great aesthetics! The crystal is showing an intense blue color with just a slightly touch of green. It is transparent, free of damage and lustrous! Over all this is a high quality indigolite easily good enough for the edvanced collector.

Found in spring 2014 this specimen is one of the finest of its kind. The striking turquoise Paraiba-color is caused by copper and catches the eye instantly. Analysis identified this mineral as the extremely rare tridymite crystobalite opal. Especially specimens on matrix are almost impossible to come by, so this one might just be the chance of a lifetime!
