WOW, this is an awesome indigolite in combiantion with a very nice doubly terminated quartz on the back! Most of the pieces coming to the market are simply single crystals without any matrix and I have seen this combiantion only very rareley in the past! The quartz is perfectly grown on the back side of the troumaline here and also in the right hight! The indigolite has a beautiful pointed termination, which improves the over all appearance even more! All this properties combined on one pice are making a beautiful outline here and a great aesthetics! The crystal is showing an intense blue color with just a slightly touch of green. It is transparent, free of damage and lustrous! Over all this is a high quality indigolite easily good enough for the edvanced collector.

Found in spring 2014 this specimen is one of the finest of its kind. The striking turquoise Paraiba-color is caused by copper and catches the eye instantly. Analysis identified this mineral as the extremely rare tridymite crystobalite opal. Especially specimens on matrix are almost impossible to come by, so this one might just be the chance of a lifetime!

I love the dramatic contrast on this piece, where the single bright green emerald crystal is perched upon a beautiful black and white matrix. The emerald shows some tiny edgewear, but strikes through brilliant luster and an intense green color. The matrix shows crystallized calcite on all sides and offers just the perfect proportion for this eye-catching emerald crystal of 0.8 cm in length. A superb piece of excellent aesthetics.

RK172 - Fluorite with Calcite - Sold

Imposing, elegant and incredibly aesthetic, this is a masterly arranged combination of large cubic fluorite and flattened rhombic "nail-head" calcite on matrix. The calcite is milky white and up to 5 cm in diameter, providing great contrast for the dominant fluorite: pale green, 3.5 cm on edge and limpid to the core with nicely modified edges. The overall aesthetics is just dramatic in person with high class crystals - fluorite and calcite alike - on a beautiful, fine crystallized matrix. A weighty statue of elegance and pure beauty!

A highly aesthetic, heart shaped grey schist matrix with striking honey-yellow titanite. The main titanite crystal is a 1.8 cm long, gemmy and completely flawless "fishtail" twin. Scattered across the matrix there are a number of smaller titanites as well. The matrix itself is nicely crystallized with white feldspar on all sides and provides an appealing background for the main attraction of this piece. This is a shiny example for a high quality titanite on matrix from the Austrian Alps.

This hematite is a complete floater that shows one dominant rosette at the front and a conglomerate of several smaller ones with some white calcite matrix at the backside. The iron rose is thick and well developed with good, yet not very good luster, which might be about the only shortcoming on this otherwise lovely specimen that is overall appealing and in very best condition!
