This exceptionally fine spinel specimen found at Pyan Pyit in the famous gem district Mogok!
It presents a single spinel crystal atop a contrasting white calcite matrix. The spinel is up to 2.1 cm on edge and displays intensive pink to red color. At closer inspection you see the translucent crystal being shot through with gemmy patches which makes it very easily lit! On the lustrous surface you can see subtle etchings which has a lovely visual effect without disturbing the well developed octahedral crystal shape!
The classic aesthetics of one single crystal on matrix very much highlights the spinel as the rare and beautiful gem it turly is! As you can see in our video, the spinel is complete all around and there is no damage whatsoever! An exceptional specimen of this rare gem mineral!

The combination of lustrous golden pyrite and sparkling white quartz is both striking and attractive. The main pyrite is prominently situated at the top of the mountain-like quartz structure that's comprised of countless slender crystals. The pyrite cube itself shows nice striations on all sides and has very good golden color. There is a minimal ding on the pyrite but the overall condition is exceptionally good!
