Let's start with a stunner! This fluorite specimen from the famous Yaogangxian Mine in China is absolutely outstanding for its special shape that does not at all remind us of fluorite at first view. Still, at closer sight you find evidence of this fabulous piece being a group of spinell twins of superb quality and exceptional formation. Being a floater, this piece is even in brilliant condition all around. Accompanying pyrite crystals add the icing on the cake and leave this breathtaking fluorite specimen without peer!

This is in fact a quite astonishing piece at closer inspection. Have a look at the main crystal (also in our video) and you immediately get stunned by the brilliant luster, the water-clear bright blue crystal and its neat purple phantom. The fluorite is a cube with modified edges, accompanied by a second smaller cube of matching quality. The matrix is a dark contrasting combination of quartz encrusted with tiny pyrite and muscovite. The major issue about this piece is a broken quartz side-crystal that is visible at the lower main view. Fortunately there is nothing to worry about the fluorite that is completely intact and of pristine quality. An appealing specimen from this famous locale.

While one of the hematite side-crystals is damaged, the main crystal is totally unharmed with only a contact at the bottom. The quartz shows the characteristic Cavradi-quality: lustrous, water-clear and with beautiful surface structure. This is a very 3-dimensional piece of classic Alpine aesthetics, a rare composition and a real stunner!

The lovely aesthetics with its catchy outline speaks very much for itself. Sparkingly white and glassy quartz crystals provide a comforting nest for numerous brilliant hübnerite crystals (the largest of which is 2.1 x 1.1 cm large) that are scattered across the whole piece. It is from smaller pocket of fine specimens found in 2014. The hübnerite crystals are of brilliant luster and shape and show no damage at all. A superb piece of dramatic impact!
