Finding fragile sculptures like this in such exceptional condition and beautiful aesthetics is a small miracle indeed! A dainty shard of feldspar matrix is crystallized on all sides, sparkling with feldspar and chlorite. Along the ridge you see sharp mossy green titanites right up to the top where individual crystals reach 1.7 cm in length. A single 2.7 cm long free-standing schorl at the lower right side adds a further aspect that's rare for the locale.

The needle thin tourmalines are three-dimensionally arranged along a zentral spine and rises more than 4.5 cm from the matrix. Some of the crystals even show the fire-red color this mineral only shows when very thin and very pure. A remarkable piece of Alpine tourmaline!

Smoky quartz from the Cavradi gorge is not exactly common, especially when it comes to large and massive specimens like this one! The main crystal is stunning 11.2 cm long and 7 cm broad and is attractively perched on a piece of rock matrix. Through the transparent quartz you can see this matrix which really brings live to the crystal! It is highly lustrous, shows dark and warm brown color and is a complete doubly terminated crystal. One small chip at the bottom is the only little flaw, the rest is perfect. The matrix has some smoky quartz side crystals as well as hematites, mostly at the underside. The whole specimen is impressive in size as well as quality and it's totally outstanding for the locale!
