A single ball of lemon yellow brucite in nice glassy quality is set on a small piece of rock matrix. The backside has a contact but apart from that the crystal is flawless. Very straight forward aesthetics and brilliant quality from the game-changing 2015 finds in the Killa Saifullah District!
One single smoky quartz crystal of dark brown color stands out from a piece of characteristic Habach Valley schist matrix. It is around 4 x 1.8 x 1.3 cm large and flawless. The crystal is accompanied by several smaller side-crystals of matching quality. Still, the main crystal is the unmistakable center of this specimen and dramatically draws the attention to it! This highly aesthetic specimen is from the famous find from around 1993 by Alois Steiner and Reinhard Heim, the latter of whom had the piece in his private collection!
A unique and most attractive piece from this famous locale that is most prominently known as Europs best source for specimen quality emerald!
Very well defined datolite crystals on a beautiful quartz matrix with associated green grossular. The larger datolite is 5.4 cm long, sharp and of greenish translucent color. The surface is nicely lustrous and flawless all round! The combination with garnet is very rare and adds a beautiful contrast of darker material. It's a superb specimen from the famous mining region!
Aesthetic composition, striking contrast and high crystal quality. The single fluorite cube is pinkish white with purple edges - a typical color play for an Elmwood fluorite. A massive black sphalerite matrix provides a perfect background and directs the focus straight to the impressive 3.4 cm on edge fluorite that 3-dimensionally protrudes out of the matrix. At closer inspeciton you will appreciate the fluorites delicate surface structure and great condition. Nicely arranged, dashy and elegant!
It's hard to imagine how a single crystal could be better emphasized on a specimen! The intensively purple fluorapatite is set on a massive blueish black tourmaline matrix that is covered in a cream-colored layer of mica microcrystals. The apatite is gemmy, highly lustrous and virtually perfect. When you turn the piece around you can see the massive black tourmaline that is mostly opaque but has some gemmy blue patches too. Definitely an unusual yet remarkable specimen!
This superb little floater of glassy colorless calcite is totally brilliant and perfect all around! Great luster, sharp design and very nice clarity make this a most desirable specimen with no downsides at all! For a better look I strongly suggest a look on our video for it much better reflects the reality of this being a high class calcite with pronounced wow factor!
The single dominant main crystal is embedded in a somewhat chaotic aggregate of evenly brilliant side-crystals which lends this specimen its very own sublime aesthetics! The main quartz is glassy like a cut gem with sharp edges and brilliant luster. There is some edge-wear present very little and hardly visible on this rich and vibrant specimen. Turning the piece around one can see only more and more amazing aspects of this sparkling beauty. The backside is contacted but is completely re-crystallized and pristine. The bottom as well is crystallized and associated with grey schist inclusions. This is an absolute marvel of best quality and sweeping aesthetics!
With a diameter of 6.8 cm the main crystal on this pyrite specimen is absolutely amazing. It is nested between other pyrites of matching quality and the uncommon dodecahedral shape. The surface shows golden luster and some beautiful structures and striations. When turning the piece around you will find it mostly crystallized and perfect with only one contacted section and hardly any abrasions. It's an excellent pyrite from one of the worlds best locales for the mineral!
Wow, what a gorgeous specimen! A single 3.4 cm euclase crystal is set on a brilliantly sparkling crystallized adularia matrix! The euclase is totally gemmy and sharp and in fantastic condition. It has one intergrown adularia at the front but that is undamaged as well. The bright and shiny euclase on the snow white and all around crystallized adularia matrix makes for a spectacularly beautiful and totally pristine picture!
It's a highly attractive pyrite specimen from the Ankogel group. The pyrite aggregate is set on a towering matrix which is a mix of white feldspar and silvery chlorite. The piece has no damage and is beautiful all around as you can see on our pictures!
A excellent specimen of "yellow tanzanite" as this exceedingly rare variety is often called. The color is an intensive greenish yellow, the surface is sparkling and nicely striated with a sharp termination. The lower parts of the crystal are a little clouded but it is getting clearer and gemmier the further up you look. A striking piece in person! Some of the edges are chipped but the characteristic crystal habit is all complete and very catchy.
An appealing and striking example of this very rare zoisite variety as you can very well see in our video!
Fragile! I hardly dare looking at this piece. Not just for fear of breaking these thin crystals but also out of pure humility. It is almost unbelievable that these two rutile crystals including the fine needles that are grown all over them have never been broken in the process of the recovery. Both main crystals are perfectly intact, well terminated and aesthetically perched on a fitting piece of siderite-matrix. Please also watch our video for a better impression of this pieces beauty!
