This brilliant specimen features a single meaty titanite twin crystal that is up to 7 mm thick and sharply developed! Especially on the front it shows bright luster and it is completely flawless. Some additional adularia on the side perfects the wonderful aesthetics! It is a superb little jewel in best shape and condition!
What I like on this specimen is for sure the very distinctive design. A single cubical pyrite crystal is set atop a well balanced piece of matrix, consisting of white calcite and orange/brown ankerite. The pyrite has nice luster and is undamaged.
What looks fantastic on the pictures is even better in person: Brilliant wet-look luster and water-clear transparency! The 14 cm long crystal is in fantastic condition right up to the pointed termination. Its backside is overgrown with a lovely mix of adularia, chlorite, limonite and some quartz crystals, the largest of which is 5 cm long and an attractive side-crystal.
This specimen features nice orange wulfenite crystals richly covering a piece of rock matrix. While the larger crystals up to 1.1 cm on edge are assembled at the top of the specimen, smaller crystals are grown all over the piece. Even at the backside and the bottom, which has only a thin edge that is somewhat scuffed but all the rest is overgrown with wulfenite crystals. The crystals are nicely lustrous and translucent and in best condition.
The elegance of this rich fluorite specimen from Planggenstock is really just unbeatable!
Lovely pink fluorites are arranged on a white feldspar-rich matrix. This not only makes for a strong contrast but also looks absolutely pristine. No damage, fresh open pink color and just finest crystal quality all over!
As you can see in our video the rock matrix is all natural, not trimmed or worked. This is a spectacular specimen without anydownsides!
A highly aesthetic structure of black schorl on rock matrix. The schorl is grown as a compact thicket consisting of countless thin crystals that show dark red color when exposed to direct light.
With a size of 11.8 cm and really just outstanding quality and crystal architecture this is an important specimen from the Mörchnerkar! Best luster, razor sharp edges and nice transparency, especially towards the intensively purple terminations!
The color play of those purple zones with the white reflecting quartz is beautiful in person.
The overall condition is excellent with only minor abrasions. A broken side-crystal is re-healed, not freshly broken.
This specimen was found by Reinhard Heim and has been in the collections of Robert Patzak as well as Ingeborg and Anton Watzl senior.
One single round tabular hematite crystal is embedded in brilliant transparent quartz. Seldomly can you see such well designed combination, paired with sharp and clear crystal quality! The main quartz has 2.5 cm in length and is prominently set on a piece of matrix that is overgrown with small quartz and anatase microcystals! There is no damage!
In the early 1990s this locale yielded a number of significant titanite specimens of beautiful quality. Since then however no new material is appearing and whatever is on the market is highly coveted.
This is a matrix specimen with a rich number of lustrous green titanites up to about 1 cm in size. The crystals are distributed over a surface of sparkling white adularia micro-crystals, accompanied by a single 7 mm adularia in the center.
The specimen has nice classic aesthetics, sharp crystals and no damage anywhere!
This excellent smoky quartz specimen shines with wonderful luster and completely glassy and undamaged crystals! The largest crystal has around 4 cm in length and stands out from the crowd of smaller but equally brilliant crystals. Quality is absolutely breathtaking here! The smokies are set on a piece of naturally broken rock matrix and show no downsides whatsoever!
This whole fluorite composition is amazingly three-dimensional and crystallized all around!
Unlike many specimens from the locale this one is highly lustrous which is as rare as it is beautiful!
The complexly interlocked crystals are all in very best condition. Even the bottom is crystallized.
The piece comes with collection lables of Dr. Reinhard Dallinger, Karl Podpeskar as well as from Ingeborg and Anton Watzl sen.
The perfection of this beautiful quartz arrangement is totally stunning in person and all main cyrystals are completely flawless!
A second generation of small quartz crystals that is distinctly visible in the pictures is in fact solely grown on the backside of the main crystals. However, through the glassy crystal bodies and the pristine surface those crystals are easily visible and beautifully reflect the light in all directions!
Some iron oxide between the main crystals adds a golden orange color which makes this specimen even more interesting and alive!
At the base you will find pericline and calcite.
