Considering how beautiful these fluorites from the Berbes mining area can get it is unfortunate that the mines are no longer active and deeply buried unter debris. This is an unusually fine exemplar from a brighter period that features a rich number of purple fluorite cubes on a background of sparkling white quartz and ivory barite. The Fluorites are up to 1.5 cm on edge, glassy and lustrous with gorgeous surface structures! The crystals are almost colorless near the surface but are filled with a purple color that gets more and more satiated the deeper it gets. A rarity that's very nice to look upon and in outstanding condition!
Lovely colorless and translucent dolomite crystals are adorned with second generation tabular pyrrhotite and small acicular cubanite. The backside is simple grey rock but with some attached pyrrhotite that must have grow after the piece detached. A very nice and attractive specimen of rare material from the world's oldest gold mine that shut down in 2003 after 278 years of mining!
This gemmy tourmaline strikes with rich colors and a well cut polyhedral termination! The vitreous crystal shows a beautiful color zoning that reaches from brownish orange at the bottom to vibrant emerald green and pink at the top. Very intense and bright! Bou Azzer is easily the most famous and rich source for high class erythrite specimens worldwide and has produced collection pieces since the 1960s. This specimen is an older classic of nice quality and captivating appearance. A piece of grey rock that is in parts covered in brilliantly lustrous and gemmy erythrite crystals. The individual crystals are up to around 0.7 cm in size and show bright magenta color. Between these sharp crystals there are tiny rosettes of pink erythrite. Same material, different crystal habit. Overall this piece is in great condition with only some peripheral issues.
A gemmy singly crystal topaz with brigth luster all around and a lovely greenish tinge that's especially nice in natural light. The crystal has some chips or abrasions here and there but is generally in very good condition and of very high quality! A nice and classic little gem!
A very attractive floater specimen that features an assembly of color intensive rose quartz, transparent slightly smoky quartz and a layer of some grey mineral covering some patches and adding a nice contrast to the specimen. The condition is not perfect as there are some smaller damages present but the overall shape is intact and nicely outlined.
A number of lovely fluorite octahedrons are distributed over the contrasting landscape of white quartz needles. The fluorites are of a marvelous color combination, green at the center and deeply purple at the edges. The size ranges from only a few millimeters to 1.4 cm on edge. What's especially nice here is the overall aesthetics of the large white matrix with dark, single isolated crystals. Definitely an eye-catcher and in very good condition!
