This is a very massy crystal that needs some light from the back to show its inner life, the bright cherry-red and mossy-green colors. But even at normal room-light there are a lot of beautiful aspects about this piece: the striated surface that sparkles in green and red, the flawless modified termination, the dramatic natural cliff-like shape and the white matrix, covering the piece like snow. As a bonus there is some londonite to be found - look at the upper left face on the picture. This liddicoatite is in just perfect condition and is a floater - flawless even at the bottom.

Very characteristic for the famous Leckbachrinne in Habachtal this specimen presents a great contrast of dark silvery mica schist and a single, intensively green and gemmy emerald. The crystal is 1.9 x 0.7 cm in size and shows a fantastic emerald-green color. It is free of damage and has a frosted surface. A well proportioned specimen from Europes best locality for emerald crystals!

This is a distinctly 3-dimensional and very unique tourmaline cluster! One pink tourmaline with a flat termination is base for a group of two colored tourmalines with pyramidal terminations, protruding almost 90° to the front, right towards the beholder! These tourmalines are pink at the bottom and change color to a light blue only to have another pink zone at the termination. They are all very clear at the inside, show great luster and impressive terminations!
All the lower parts and connections at this piece are veiled by purple lepidolite. The whole piece is just flawless and highly aesthetic in person!

GE2 - Epidote - 2500€
Ras Koh Mts., Kharan, Balochistan, Pakistan
Size: 6.8 x 4.3 x 4 cm

This epidote specimen is from a recent find in the western Pakistani Mountains that revealed a completely unique and highly aesthetic "bow tie" shape. Sprays of dark green, lustous epidote form this sharp clusters in a just lovely way.
Several of those "bow ties" are stacked upon each other to for this sculputresque specimen that strikes with a very catchy shape. The backside is partly covered in small white calcite crystals and minimal byssolite.
The piece is a floater and in very good condition with only some peripheral contacts that are not visible from the front. A superb specimen for the find and this mineral in general!

A distinctive floater specimen of transparent to white quartz with beautiful green chlorite phantoms inside. The quartz is arranged as three "fingers" with a couple of smaller side-crystals and extensive backside chloritisation around the center. The piece is overall in very good condition with some minor issues along the terminations. A striking quartz specimen from the rather uncommon locale!

Erongo Mts., Karibib Constituency, Namibia
Size: 8.1 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm

Never would I have thought that a single crystal schorl could be as fascinating and unique as this very specimen! Unlike most crystals this is not just a plain prism with some striations but much more a complex stack that looks as if it was constructed from many smaller parts with only the upper half being more straight forward. Jet black color, superb luster and the richness in details provides and elegant and somehow mystic feel to this impressive crystal. The hexagonal shape ends in a bevelled flat termination. Very beautiful in person and really something special for the material!

It's a typical tabular barite specimen composed of translucent crystals with a waxy luster. The somewhat blueish crystals show yellow inclusions of what might be limonite. A nice piece in overall very good condition!

The pictures of this impressive tourmaline largely speak for themselves. The specimen shows very intensive, gemmy apple green coloring with a pink sugar crusting. The tourmaline is nicely attached to a translucent white quartz making for pure textbook aesthetics. This nice piece is out of a find in Bevoandrano pegmatite, Madagascar. The piece is complete all around with a re-healed bottom and a perfect slanted termination. Even at low light this specimen cuts a fine figure but the direct backlight releases a flash of bright green. A fantastic piece of comfy hand-size and brilliant quality!

One dominant pyrite crystal is set on a quartz matrix with a sail-like quartz structure protruding right at its side. The pyrite is very well defined with striations and bevelled edges. At the back, where a smaller quartz is grown right into its side there is a small chip but aside of that the pyrite is complete and unharmed. The towering quartz is a complex of several parallel, milky crystals with sharp terminations and free of any damage. This specimen is rather unusual but attractive in it's very own way.

This spinel is a true gemstone! It is perfectly crystallized, shows beautiful surface structure and, most significantly, amazing strikingly red color! The single crystal is 2.8 cm in diameter and completely free of any damage. Unlike most other specimens in the market this one displays bright cherry-red color that virtually explodes at direct illumination. The core is all gemmy and of outstanding quality! Set on a contrasting white calcite matrix, the spinel is dominant and very well presented. The white matrix is studded with some smaller spinel crystals, adding some life and a very natural feeling!
