Brilliant high quality fluorite crystals of intensive green color are nicely lined up on a feldspar/mica matrix. The crystals are modified octahedrons of superb glassy quality. When looking closely you can see beautiful details. Some of the edges are colored purple and inside the fluorite you can find inclusions of schorl which adds even more life to this vibrant specimen. A stunningly beautiful specimen if best condition!
This fine apatite specimen is a classic from an old collection. The enclosed label dates ot back to 1881!
But it is not only old but beautiful too! A 4.1 cm apatite cluster is set on a dark chlorite matrix with beige-colored feldspar surrounding the main crystals. The apatite comes as transparend colorless crystals with very nice luster and distinctive shape. Some minor damage is present but which is hardly discernible or even much relevant on a historic piece like this!
Val Giuv is not only the type locality for milarite but to this day remains the best locality for this extremely rare mineral worldwide!
The majority of crystals on this rich specimen is green from chlorite inclusions. Near the top however you can find brilliant gemmy colorless crystals in characteristic hexagonal shape. The longest milarite is a bit over 1 cm long. In between the milarite there are several slightly smoky quartz crystals as well as some white fledspar.
This single crystal fluorite has absolutely amazing and brilliant showcase presence! Not only does it impress with its size but also with stunning emerald green color that radiates throughout the whole crystal! Pictures 1 and 2 dispaly it with some backlight while pictures 3 and 4 are in natural light only which is already amazing! The cuboctahedral shape is exceptionally well developed and while the piece has contacts at the bottom and the backside it is without damage. It’s an absolutely stunning crystal in person!
This specimen was found in the 1970s in the historic barite mining tunnel in Oberzeiring which has produced the best barites from Austria. Translucent blueish grey tabular barite with distinctive white edges is three-dimensionally arranged and forms some very nice structures. The piece is in exceptional condition and shows lovely aesthetics!

This quartz specimen is particularly colorful which is due to green chlorite and orange iron oxide which makes it really appealing in person! The quartz itself is clear and lustrous and well shaped. There is no damage, even the bottom is completely re-crystallized. On the lower backside there is a 2.5 cm ankerite aggregate which is a rare addition and makes this even more special!
This specimen is a little jewel that features a single fluorite cube with 0.9 cm on edge. The fluorite is 100% flawless, it is lustrous and transparent and has strong and beautiful purple color. This single fluorite is set on a bed of muscovite, covered in green chlorite which provides a beatuful contrast. A brilliant little specimen with clear and beautiful aesthetics!
A lovely little singel crystal fluorite from a new find on Galenstock in Switzerland. It is a splendid octahedron with great luster and surface structure. The interior is transparent and has a rather intensive red color, especially for such a small crystal. The condition is overall very good. Only one tip has a chip, the others are perfect. The backside shows the imprint of a quartz on which tip the fluorite must have grown.
This is a classic piece of dark grey rock matrix with a front that is covered in a rich layer of purple kämmererite micro-crystals. Atop this layer are several larger crystals, most prominently two sharp and gemmy crystals up to 9 mm in diameter. Beautiful aesthetics and stunning crystals quality are united on this elegant specimen. Kämmererite, the chromium bearing variant of clinochlore, is almost exclusive to this locale and was found only in the 1970s and 1980s with no new material coming after that.
What you see here is an unusually vibrant sculpture composed of white pericline with chlorite and quartz.
As can already be seen in the image, this sculpture consists of two pericline aggregates held together by a quartz crystal.
The entire formation is crystallized all around, making it a true floater group. Which side should be considered the “front” is ultimately a matter of personal taste. The side shown in the image is beautifully white, which is why we have chosen it as the front. The opposite side is characterized by chlorite and quartz crystals, yet it is equally perfect and exceptionally lively in appearance.
This specimen has been part of the collection of Karl Podpeskar since the 1980s. He found it himself and was always very proud of it.
Blocky white pericline crystals in association with white adularia. This combination makes for a sparkling wonderland of amazing beauty! The whole piece is in excellent condition down to the detail. It was found in the 1990s by Hannes and Gerhard Hofer.
Ex Karl Podpeskar collection.
A very nice combination of quartz and pericline with great aesthetics from the famous Rauris valley in Austria!
